Sold my Beretta .25 caliber and bought the .32 Alleycat from Bud’s for more punch. I use the Alleycat for quick visits to the store or when I want to carry for short periods of time when I just want to grab something quick without getting my gun belt on and holster. The front night sight definitely helps with accuracy. The .32 is “chunkier” than the .25 caliber but is easier to get a good grip on. I added the Pearce grip extensions on the magazine and that also helped a lot. Because it is a larger pistol compared to the .25 caliber, it leaves a larger imprint in your pocket but still is very concealable. The gun is very accurate with a good firm grip. I did shoot the Alleycat with the following ammunition. For target: Fiocchi 73 grain FMC Leadless, PMC 71 grs FMJ, Herters 73 grs FMJ, Winchester 71 grs FMJ. For self-defense: Winchester 60 grs Silvertip JHP and Corbon 60 grs JHP. Beretta recommends not using anything that delivers over 130 ft/lbs. of energy. Fiocchi (160 ft/lbs) and Cor Bon (147 ft/lbs) are advertised above that and you can feel it compared to both Winchester types which are advertised at 129 ft/lbs for the FMJ and 125 ft/lbs for the Silvertip HP. I intend to keep with the Winchester brand not only because it meets the Beretta guidelines but because it gave me very controllable and accurate results. The Alleycat shot all types of ammo with no problems with FTF’s or FTE’s. My initial impression on the Beretta Alleycat is very favorable. Based on my experience with the .25 caliber Beretta, I will keep this pocket pistol very clean. My first experience at the range with this new gun and the different kinds of ammo told me that I need to hold the Alleycat firmly in order to get excellent accuracy with this smaller size pistol where accuracy is a premium over the larger calibers that I carry. My only comments about this gun (and they are not meant to be negative) is that you have to make sure the tip up barrel is fully engaged in the locked position after loading your first round. My barrel is a little stiff but I attribute that to being new. The slide is hard to pull back if you are using that method to load your first round. I recommend loading the first round via the tip up barrel as designed. The tear down of the Alleycat is very simple and easy to do for cleaning purposes which you should do often in order to eliminate any FTF’s. I polished my feed ramp and keep the gun lubricated for ease of action. Overall a great gun from Beretta and, as usual, great service from Bud’s.

Picked up my gun today, I love the little fart. I haven't shot it yet, but I have the 22 version so I'm sure it will shoot fine. Buds was great the gun even came with a pocket holster which was unexpected but cool. This was my first buy but probably not my last.

I really like the tip-up barrel - its easy to put a round in/out for concealed carry.
small size so very easy to carry ,I am now useing it daily - with hollow points.
buds service was flawless as expected...........

I bid on the Beretta Alleycat a few weeks ago and won the bid which I was pleased about! From the time I paid until I picked it up locally took right at 2 weeks. Since I paid with an electronic check it took a bit longer than if you pay with a credit card. But, I didn't want to pay the extra 3% fee that you have to pay when using a credit card. I am very pleased with BUDS GUN SHOP and their service! When the time comes again for me to order, I will be using BUDS! As the other reviews on this gun said, it did come with a holster which I didn't know until I got it. Extra plus there!!! I highly recommend BUDS!

This is an excellent pocket pistol for concealed carry. It comes with the Desantis pocket holster and is so comfortable to carry. It shoots very well for such a short barrel.

Bud's delivered in three days to my FFL. I will definitely be purchasing more in the future.

Once again another great transaction with Buds. I am happy with a new Alleycat. It also came with a pocket holster that was not listed in the description. The trigger was very gritty at first, but after a good cleaning and firing 50 flawless rounds, it came around. I was impressed with the accuracy from 10 yards. I have read that there has been some problems with the frames cracking. I have checked mine and have found no evidance of of cracking at this point. The gun fits nicely in my pocket and it very easy to conceal. On drawback that I have found is the magazine release button is in a bad location. I have accendently hit when remove the gun from my pocket. I would hate to have that happen at a time when I really need it. Overall, this gun reflects the quality that you would expect from Beretta.

Special note, this weapon came with a Desantis Nemesis holster. It is not in the description on Buds site so I was happy to see it in the box. Great little gun.

This is a well made pistol, solid construction and the tip up barrel is a cool feature. Made loading the one in the chamber easy, take down is a breeze. I like having the external hammer as well and the night sights work well. Buds shipping was great once again, 2 days and in my hands. Called in to pay off and the person that helped me was extremely professional and friendly.

We ordered this piece as a smaller CCW piece for my wife. We had looked at other versions of the Tomcat locally but I thnk the Alleycat is the best for the sights alone. Even if the big front sight wasn't a night sight it's still superior to the other options. There was a jam on an empty case in the first mag but it was flawless after that. I was shooting fist sized groups at 10 yards. As usual dealing with Bud's was nice and easy.
