Best 22 caliber rimfire I have ever had. I really like it. Shoots really accurately and very nice. I paid the extra for the heavy barrel, and it is great. I think the magazine works good, I just had to load it once to get used to it and I like it really well.

Great little inexpensive rifle for sure. Stock is a lot better than on the mkll. Lots of folks find it hard to load the magazines but I don't have a problem at all. If you can load 10/22 mags you can load these as well. Sub moa shooter right out of the box. Can't say enough good things about buds. My only place for rimfire rifles.

Great little gun. Bought this for my 10-year old son. It's more accurate than .22 ammo which is good, as you can find what ammo it shoots well. Savage is doing well with the accutrigger. Researched everything out in this price range and the Savage BV FV offer the most value for the money. The kid love it.

Love this 22lr. Very accurate right out of the box, and I have not found any ammo it will not shoot and eject properly.

On 02-19-2020, I ordered a Savage Model B22FV bolt action 22LR, 21" heavy barrel. I picked it up from my local FFL on 03-02-2020. It is an excellent rifle for training & practice for my 270 win bolt action deer rifle. The heavy barrel gives it the "heft" & feel of a deer rifle. I can get excellent practice cycling the bolt action from on the shoulder, & target acquisition. Buds Guns did an EXCELLENT job for me, & my local FFL did an excellent job handling the "transfer". THANK YOU Buds Guns, & L&M Supply. Practice & train with the 22LR.

Where to start. For the price WOW. This rifle shoots the same as any $500 rifle hands down. The Stock is far from great but its a budget entry level rifle, you get what you pay for in terms of fancyness. For the price this is what you get: 1 MOA accuracy if not better! Heavy barrel. Once its broke in (500) rounds through it, smooth action. AccuTrigger! Again ACCURACY. Sure go out and spend $500-$750 and a CZ or Anshultz, or a custom 22 that shoots same hole every shot, or buy this budget rifle and shoot DIME size groups at 50 yards and save several hundreds of dollars. I'll take this every time! One down side the aftermarket products for this rifle is lacking.

Awesome rifle just like the rest of my Savage's with excellent accuracy. Bolt is really smooth and the bull barrel makes bench shooting really nice with the added weight.

To say I am pleased with this rifle would be an understatement. I've put 200+ rounds through it now and enjoy shooting it very much. I just gave it a thorough cleaning and then tried some Eley Target ammo at 25 yards. I consistently got 5 shot groups that were one hole barely twice the bullet diameter. It's amazing that Savage can produce a rifle that will shoot like this that I can buy for a little over $250! What a terrific rifle.
