Designed in 1975, the CZ 75 is the flagship model of the CZ handgun line with over one million produced. An entire family of pistols is available based on the basic CZ 75 design: compacts, decockers, single action only, ambidextrous, alloy frames as well as competition pistols.

The 75 B features a steel frame, a black polycoat finish, 3 dot sights, 16+1 9mm capacity, and of course, the ergonomics and DA/SA action that have made it the most copied handgun design second only to the 1911. The ‘B’ designation is an indicator that the model is equipped with a firing pin block safety.

CZ 75 B is used by more governments, militaries, police and security agencies than any other pistol in the world. The CZ 75 is quite possibly the perfect pistol.

  • All steel construction
  • High capacity double column magazines
  • Hammer forged barrels
  • Ergonomic grip and controls
  • Unparalleled accuracy
  • Slide-in-frame design for better recoil control
  • 3 dot sighting system
  • Smooth double action and crisp single action
  • Extended service life due to advanced design and superior materials
  • Firing pin block safety

Great pistol. I replaced grips and it really looks good.

This pistol was very well priced, actually it was priced much lower than what local gun stores were selling their CZ75 B's for. Not only was the price great, but the condition was perfect, only 3 factory shot rounds through it. In addition to this, the shipping was lightning fast and arrived to my FFL within just a few days. I highly recommend Buds Gun Shop and they have now earned a lifelong customer due to their service and product quality.

As one might expect from the CZ75 this is a very solid and well made pistol. It is large and heavy as expected but that makes it more pleasant to shoot. I was disappointed that it only came with two magazines, LE sales guns from other manufacturers generally ship with three magazines.

Great service as always from Bud's. The pistol reached the store for pickup very fast. I picked it up last Tuesday. First thin I'd have to say is don't waste your money here. It may say CZ 75B on the pistol but it is definitely a substandard firearm. You would do MUCH better getting a Tristar copy for less money. You'd get a better firearm. The sights are off A LOT. With a standard sight picture for a 3 dot sight system, it consistently shoots low and to the right, no matter the range, from 7yds to 25 yds. The worst part in my opinion is the pistol isn't blued OR polycoated as the description says on line here. The "finish" is black paint. It is painted nicely I guess but it's still painted. I ordered a polycoated pistol and got painted. At least with Tristar it will look better. I can't actually say the Tristar will shoot better but I doubt it could shoot any worse. I talked to Buds on line and the rep said to talk to CZ about it. Apparently they don't open gun cases shipped from the manufacturer to "maintain their integrity". I think they had better start opening them now. $500.00 is a lot of money to pay for a pistol you didn't order and now don't want and can't sell as second hand to anyone for over $200.00! Live and learn fellow LE and military folks. Don''t buy this piece of $#^&**.

It's a CZ 75, one of the best firearms ever designed, need I say more? The service from Buds is always top notch. I have been and will be a long-time customer.

I ordered this pistol for my personal collection after long experience with the CZ-75 going back to the early 80's. It is just one of those firearms that any serious handgun collector should try, and although a classic, is not prohibitively expensive. When I saw that Buds had this one on the Qualified Professional list with a nice discount, I decided I needed a new CZ. I was not to be disappointed. Buds service was, as always, excellent. The pistol arrived quickly and in fine shape, and looked like any other commercial CZ product in its packaging, except for a sticker on the hard case that read "First Responder Firearm-For First Responder Purchase Only". For a moment, I thought this might mean the pistol would come supplied with a third magazine as many police pistols are, but it was not to be. Only two in the box, but that is not a complaint, just an observation. I had ordered three extra Mec Gar magazines for the gun anyway, which arrived just before the pistol did. Then my next challenge was getting the box open. Unlike previous CZ pistol boxes, this one has a little hidden release you have to press after unsnapping the two latches on the box, or the box will not open. It is easy to miss, and it drove both me and my FFL nuts trying to get the box open until we saw a little oval in the plastic under the handle with the word "Push" lightly embossed in it. Excellent security measure, because if you don't know it is there, you won't be looking for it. On to the pistol. Mine came nicely fit and finished, and I have no real complaints except that the "dots" of the three-dot sights are dimly marked and barely visible. They are of the phosphorescent variety, but only glow dimly when illuminated. The sights themselves are fine and of good size, it is just the dots that are small. If you plan to carry this pistol for anything serious, you might want to install night sights which fortunately are readily available and reasonably priced. Moving on, the action of the slide and controls was smooth, and the safety lever was positive. Bear in mind when ordering this model that there is NO de-cocking feature on the gun. You either carry it hammer down after carefully lowering the hammer per the instruction manual, or you carry it cocked and locked like a 1911. If you don't like that, CZ offers a de-cocking model which is the CZ 75BD. The fit and finish of the pistol are top notch. The finish is quite black, evenly applied, and attractive. The single action trigger out of the box on my pistol is 5.5 pounds, with a double action pull of 11.5 pounds. Both pulls feel lighter than they measure because they are quite smooth. The grip feels absolutely wonderful in my medium-sized hand, much like a Browning Hi-Power. My pistol, with an empty magazine installed, weighs in at exactly 35 ounces. The factory sends along with the pistol an electronic print-out of a 25 meter test target. Mine showed a 2-inch, 5 shot group at that distance, well centered at about two and a half inches above point of aim, indicating sighting for a six o'clock hold. At my test fire range, which only has 15 meters available, I was able to place a full magazine of 16 rounds of NATO ball ammo into 2 inches, with the same point of aim/point of impact as the test target. The key point here is that with its weight and sight radius, the CZ 75B almost shoots itself. It was incredibly easy to be accurate with. I tested the gun with 124 grain ball ammo as well as HST hollow points and had no failures of any kind. I've now spent a week actually carrying the gun concealed daily, inside the waistband. It is a bit heavy for that unless you have a good holster and a good belt, but the very slim slide makes it comfortable IWB. So, overall, I can highly recommend this pistol as a range gun, a home defense weapon, a competition tool (once you improve the sights a bit) and even a concealed carry choice if you have not been spoiled by plastic pistols and don't mind a full sized handgun.

Hi Adam, This comes with (2) 16 Round Magazines.

The sights can be changed but it is something that needs to be done by a gunsmith. The front sight pin also holds the barrel bushing and the new sight will need to be drilled through or in the case of the Dawson may need to be reamed. The rear can be changed to fixed or adjustable like this LPA set.
