Buds delivered this gem to my FFL very quickly even during our pandemic. Amazing 1911. I had to adjust the sights a bit but that's why they are adjustable. Accurate and tight. Couldn't be happier with my first purchase from Buds and this certainly won't be my last. Keep up the great work!

Latest addition to my Springfield collection, and sadly the most disappointing. Feels absolutely great in the hands, fit/finish is good as well as weight and balance. Deadly accurate at the range, it hits exactly what it’s aimed at down range. The problem is the build quality. I’ve already sent it to Springfield once, took 4 week to get it back and now I’m having to send it back yet again. They replaced the barrel as there was a feed issue and the slide would seat fully forward. Range approx 200 rounds though her and EVERY magazine had failures due to the described issue. Springfield was responsive, after the 2nd email, and gave me RMA number for return. Took her back to the range today and ran 100 rounds through. Much improved, but not right still. Failed on 10 rounds and slide would lock in the forward position on 8 or 9 times requiring a fair amount of force to free it and get it back in action. A 10% failure rate on this 1911, at this price level, is simply unacceptable. So want to love this pistol, we’ll see if Springfield can help make that happen.

Great gun, smooth shooter, impressed with the low recoil, and the trigger is excellent. It is expensive but it is worth it!! Best handgun I own.

I am sorry I can only rate it with 5 stars, I would give it 6 if I could. I started mine out with 500 rds. of 230 gr. hand reloads( Hornaday XTP) for a break in, it operated flawlessly, my only problem came when my 8rd. mag gave up the ghost at about 480 rds.
Very accurate and smooth at banging in the 10 ring over and over!
I would love to brother it up as a twin with another just like it, but my wife might be pushed over the edge.
I would definitely recommend it to any demanding shooter who cannot settle for maybe!

If you can only have one 1911, this is it and Buds was awesome in every way.
This thing is super accurate and the trigger is so crisp and smooth, and although it is a heavy gun, especially with a Surefire 300V attached to it and a 10 round Wison Arms Combat magazine in the magwell, it is oh so nice.
Fitted an arched magazine housing on it for my large hands but even flat it was pretty comfortable even with the aggressive grips.
Highly recommend this pistol to anybody who wants a higher end 1911 without having extended wait times and astronomical fees for a custom shop model.

This TRP Blk/Gray is absolutely Gorgeous. I am a very picky person when it comes to appearance, and this gun just blew me away. The gray color almost looks blueish, which I Absolutely Love. The weight of this thing is heavy and awesome. Shoots like a dream. If you're trying to decide wether to purchase it, Do It, you will not regret it. Buds took a little longer to ship than I'm used to with other online sites, but no problems at all.
Extremely happy with this purchase.
