Courtney, yes it has. I would check in the "For Sale" sections at some Sig Forums and also (6)un Broker, (6)uns America and Armslist as hard to find& discontinued firearms and accessories show up for sale by private individuals and small shops on occasion. Just replace (6) with G.

yes this model is currently out of production check with the major auction sites like G(un)B(broker) and G(uns)A(merica) Remove ()

You might have some luck looking on online used guns sections. Maybe join some online gun forums and ask around. Sometimes people are not thinking of selling until someone just happens to ask. That’s how I sold a old revolver.

Masood, accuracy is excellent. I can get easy groups that average 1.5 to 2 inches at 15 yards. The quality is awesome and my only complaint is the weight compared to similar sized polymer framed models which I tend to carry more often. A good holster rig is key for carrying comfort.

Its a great gun Its much better than I am it will carry ok but you will need a good holster and belt (alien gear) I love mine now if I could keep my thumb off the slide release It would be great ( I shoot a 1911 and have my thumb on the safety which is the same place as the sig slide release)

the p226 9mm elite stainless is showing 42.2 ounces, the p220 45 elite stainless is showing 39.1..is this correct ?

My Sig Sauer P226 Stainless Elite is a great pistol - fit and finish is superb. The 42 ounce weight makes the 9mm seem like you're shooting a 22 rimdire.

Beautiful Gun, awesome trigger, the grips are outstanding and comes w SIG Nite Sights, I have several 9mm and the weight of the steel frame makes this an ease to shoot as the recoil is minimal, my wife loves it cause it doesn't jump around, you don't need to do anything to this gun but shoot; and protect your family if needed. 2nd Amendment Strong Brian Mickelson

I have been wanting this beautiful Sig 226 elite for many years and I finally made the move. My goodness what a beautiful firearm! It's almost too pretty! Expensive but when you hold it and see it up close you'll understand why. Then when you actually shoot it you won't regret the purchase at all. It's heavy. It's a big mans gun because of the big grip and way too heavy and large to carry. Range gun, home defense gun and a maybe a safe queen because of it's looks. Collectable for sure. It's a 10!

WithOut a doubt this has to be one of the finest handguns I have ever purchased. The build quality and materials are second to none. The Trigger has the shortest reset I have ever fired. The double action is heavy but silky smooth. The single action is very Good. Not Smith and Wesson revolver good, but very good. The gun look Great. It is very attractive, and fits the hand well. The slide action is very smooth. Everything about this gun screams quality. This is my Fist Sig. I never understood the Sig fanboy mentality until now. They are just great guns. At least this one is. I hate to say it, but this probably won't be my last Sig.

This gun is a master piece! Fit and finish are second to none. The weight basically makes recoil non-existent. The SRT trigger is phenomenal. People often ask, "is it worth the price"? I answer with a question. What can you buy for this price that will last you a life time and also pass to your next generation? Definitely recommend this firearm to anyone who expects flawless workmanship, reliability, and tons of fun at the range.

The wife and I both love the 226. The picture doesn't do this gun justice. A beautiful addition to any collection and shoots great! Everything you'd expect from Sig in the P226 is here and does not disappoint. Great gun!

Absolutely beautiful gun. The finish is flawless and the rosewood grips are amazing, This is not a handgun for the small handed. It is a brick and in my opinion is to big for a CCW gun. That being said I do not regret buying it. Smooth as silk and the SRT is great. If they weren't $1200 I would buy another.
