Yes it does Francesca. CA is very strict (which is no surprise) on only the models appearing on the CA DOJ approved Roster being compliant.

Yes it does in CA every approved model has to be submitted to the state and tested to be on the CA DOJ list. even a different color gun would need to tested just like a totally different gun the manufacturers pay for the testing so they only submit select guns and some makers are now opting to not submit guns or sell in CA Link to CA DOJ approved list https://www.oag.ca.gov/firearms/certguns

Dane, of course both of these are excellent carry pistols. This decision will be strictly a feature/function one. This will depend heavily on your personal preference of which is more important or most familiar for you. My choice in this matter if I could only have one would be the Kimber. But, if it eats away at you making this decision, why not get both?

for me its easy I am a 1911 guy the sig is a good gun but 1911s have the best triggers and I shoot them much better. I suggest seeing if a local range has them as rentals so you can try them before buying jut handling them may answer the question of which to get for you

Dane, I would just take a trip to your nearest local gun shop and handle them both. I am sure one will stand out to you for a hands on decision.

I own both. I like my Kimbers more then my Sigs. They just feel better to me.

Very different pistols. I'd suggest the 320 is more versatile. It really depends on what you want to do with it and which one feels better for you to shoot. Getting to a local range and renting or holding them would be beneficial for you to decide. Hope you figure it out. Or, you could get both!

I own one of these and I couldn't be happier with it. No issues at all and shoots very smooth. Tolerances are very tight no slop at all in slide. The front sight comes with green or red fiber optics that you install yourself which I didn't know about until yesterday. This has came to be my favorite gun in the safe and my conceal carry choice also. Love the 1911 platform and have 5 of them in different calibers. Love the safety features not found in most modern semi auto's today. All in all a great gun at a reasonable price!!!!!!!

To put it simply, I love this gun, everything about it is just awesome. This ultra carry in 9mm is just gorgeous for one, accurate as can be for 2, and easily manageable when it comes to recoil for 3. I would definitely recommend this gun to any 1911 fan wanting something in 9mm (I would say this ultra carry in 45 wouldn’t be near as fun or good to shoot).

Received in 5 days. Gun is flawless, factory fresh. Won’t be able to shoot until Sat. But as long as it shoots as good as my LW SS, Procarry 2, and my Micro Rapide put the fork in me. Just love 1911’s aside from looks & quality of Kimber I love the trigger action. I find Kimbers very accurate & well balanced in my hand. Almost forgot the unbelievable price I got from Buds. Good thing I pulled the trigger when I did the price is now $200 more than what I paid.

I am extremely pleased with my new 9mm Kimber Stainless Ultra Carry II. I have about 300 rounds down the tube so far with both 115 and 124 gr ammo. My gun loves the 124 gr. The fit and finish on the pistol are truly flawless. Even with the short 3" barrel, and me being new to shooting, this pistol's accuracy is outstanding. It makes me look like a far better shooter than I actually am at this stage.

Follow the directions from the manufacturer. Clean this 1911 thoroughly before going to the range. Be patient and follow the break in process because you will experience FTF, FTE during the first few sessions at the range ....It will turn amazingly into your favorite weapon.... I used factory mags and Wilson mags during the break in period. Both worked fine. The last two trips not one failure after 300 rnds. Just range rnds. CCI brass and aluminum...….also a box of speer gold dot 124 grs.+p ……..This is a nice gun to carry or to add to your collection. Extremely satisfied with this Kimber purchase. ALSO THANKS BUDS !!!!! NICE JOB AGAIN !!!!!
