Glock guy here, is it easy to change grips on these? Never fired a 1911

Extremely easy!! Just have to remove the screws, take off the old grips, put the new ones on and tighten the screws back down. Any full sized 1911 grips will fit this, so you have plenty of options to choose from. Trust me you will love the 1911 platform. Great pistols. Hope this helps.

Does it have a barrel bushing so it can accept after market barrels?

Cody, this pistol has a "Standard 1911 Barrel Bushing". For safety reasons, always check the barrel for proper fit and lockup before letting loose.

Cody, Yes standard 1911. 1911 barrels can be tricky, but you should be able to drop in a 5" 1911 45 ACP barrel in this firearm. New stainless steel barrel bushings at Brownells in IA can be had for $6. Will it take all 1911 45acp magazines and what brand mags work the best

This does use 1911 45 magazines, as for what brand works best that might just require some experimentation. Personally I have good luck with Mec-Gar and Colt magazines but I have a Colt gun.

How light or how heavy is the trigger? Within the 1911 trigger group how light or how heavy it is 5lb? 6lb 7.5?

I've worked on many and RIA triggers vary quite a bit. The last one was at 3.5 pounds and crisp and we left it alone. Many others have been 7 to 8 pounds and creepy. It's what you get for the money. It's a good solid 1911 to build from though.

My RIA triggers start out around 5 lbs and after a around 500-600 round the trigger is down to a nice crisp 4-4.5 lbs RIA is a company that will stand behind their products. That is why I have 8 RIA 1911s in various calibers and barrel lengths

There are a lot 1911 out there but this budget 1911 really surprised me accurate nice looking decent trigger although the sights can be a bit tricky n the front I would recommend trigicon sights other than that this 1911 rocks

This RIA full size 45ACP is a well built firearm for the money. The appearance of the gun was better than expected. I have fired about 500 rounds through this RIA 45ACP with no miss fire, or jams. I will say it doesn't like hollow point of any type, but this is typical with all 45acp pistols. So if you are in the field looking for a budget friendly 45acp you can't go wrong with this pistol. As always shipping and customer service from Buds is a breeze with fast delivery. Stay alert and armed.

Estoy super contento con mi Rock Island ACP. 45 1911. El envío fue super rápido, la compra marte y el próximo martes ya llego. Recomiendo a Budsgunshop 100% Hoy dispare 100 ronda y todo fue placentero, esta arma tiene un gatillo de lujo en fin es una excelente arma si disparas esta arma no querrá usar ninguna otras más.

Had this for 24-hours and had to send to the manufacturer. Most of the ejected brass (factory) ended up with a crease in the side of the case (this included Rock Island's two test rounds). Also, felt the magazine release was too stiff and the grip safety was inconsistent.
