Will this gun perform ok on 168 gr. or 175 gr. Sierra Match King (Federal Gold Cup) rounds?

yes it will be fine with those bullets However like any firearm for best accuracy you will have to test different brands and loads to see what the gun likes

My opinion only. But the Hornaday SST performs great out of short barrels.
