These long barrel CZ .22 LR rifles are the best. Besides having a sight radius with those Looong barrels (letting me shoot better than any other open sighted rifle), with standard velocity they are as quiet as you can get without a suppressor. It’s the best 22 I own.

Great gun with much less drop at longer ranges than other .22 rifles. I sighted mine in with match ammo at 50 yds and following up with CCI shorts showed only about 3/4” to 1” lower point of impact at the same distance. With both types of ammo, my groups were around 1-1/2” in a light but gusty wind. The iron sights are also very effective and I was able to get almost as close a group at the same distance which I found very surprising. I was a little less impressed with the plastic 10-rd magazine, but it performed without issue and I imagine it will continue is to do so if not abused. The tolerances in the bolt seem snug, something that is less common in bolt actions these days, but seemed a little notchy as I ran it through its paces and not as fluid as my old Remibgton 513. Overall, I am very pleased with the purchase and the speed of its delivery from Bud’s. I would repeat.

Stupid not to buy this rifle... shot everything just a Beeee-uuuu-teee-full rifle!!!

Out of the box with iron sights at 25 yards grouped real tight. Buds got it here very quickly...as usual...and Atlantic Bait here in Mt Pleasant SC put it in my hands within a week of order. This rifle is amazingly accurate and with the long barrel it is as quiet as a suppressor with subsonic rounds. I'll add a scope and push the 100 yard targets out a bit further I'm sure. Wonderful rifle and great service from Buds.

Great looking and shooting gun. I was drawn to the long barrel unique to this rifle. The rifle was shipped promptly after ordering. I also mounted a Leupold 9X scope. This gun seems to love the CCI Standard Velocity ammunition and produces very tight groups right out of the box. I sighted in at 50 yards and was able to get hole to hole contact during 5 shot groups. On the first day out I did some side by side bench shooting against the CZ 452 American. I couldn't see a noticeable difference in accuracy between the two. One VERY noticeable difference was that the 455 UL is much quieter than the shorter barreled 452. The stock trigger is pretty good to my liking (I like triggers that creep a bit). However, I'm going to do some polishing on the sear to get it glass smooth (and hopefully tighten up the groups). The only CON for this gun is that the bolt was quite "grabby" right out of the box. When the bolt is cycled, you can feel it dragging due to the surface finish of machined features on the bolt. I spent 20-30 minutes lapping the bolt and now it is glass smooth. For this reason, I am deducting a star, but other than that I am very pleased with this gun.

This is my first endeavor into target rifles. I was hesitant to spend above my level despite many suggestions for “higher level” rifles. I am thoroughly pleased with my choice of this CZ 455 Ultralux. At first sight, the stock has a lot of figure and is much nicer than I expected. Closer inspection of the mechanical structure and functioning of the rifle also impressed me very much. But even more impressive was the smooth trigger action and the overall comfort of shooting the rifle. I am very experienced with competition shotguns. The accuracy of this rifle far exceeds the shooter! I am extremely pleased with my choice of this rifle.
