It seemed like I received the Hawk 9 the next day after it was ordered, it was very fast at least. Desired a second 9 round magazine for the 1911, so ordered one through the receiving gun shop. The Hawk 9 has a comfortable hefty feel to it, substantial weight. Not likely a carry weapon because of that. But it will make an excellent range weapon and, for me, ideal as home defense. The weight will absorb a lot of the recoil and make it quicker back on sight. The Hawk 9 is my first 9mm and chose it a companion for my Iver Johnson Arms M-1 carbine.
