Great 10mm, the purchase is awesome and it feels so much better in the hand than any of the other 10mm polymer guns I've had and sold. This one has a front rail and is a great bedside gun with a light and laser. Nothing but good things to say about the gun and Buds!

I'm impressed! Picked up my gun from the local gun shop and immediately ran down to our local indoor range. I ran 50 rounds through it with no issues and the pistol shoots much better than my Glock compact 10MM. The finish on the gun is awesome. For the money, you really can't go wrong. The double action is amazing and just what I was looking for.

I have been shooting for many years now, and have owned dozens of guns, but this is my first go-around with my own EAA Witness. When I decided to purchase a 10mm, and saw that EAA offered a high capacity version, I was in! I do have a few gripes about the weapon, but before that, I'll hit on the many things to like about this gun. The first thing I noticed was the weight--and not in the way you would expect. Even though it is a polymer pistol, I wasn't expecting it to be nearly as light as it is, especially given the caliber. Controls and ergonomics are solid. If you are a fan of the 1911--and I am in a big way--you'll be right at home with this weapon. It can be carried cocked and locked, although without the grip safety of a 1911, I certainly wouldn't recommend it. I also don't like that there is not a manual decocker. One item of note--this is neither good or bad, just curious--when you have the safety activated, it won't let you cock the hammer. Grips are surprisingly robust and offer some SERIOUS purchase because of the texturing, which is on all sides. A nice tough. It is rough enough that it will definitely bite on your hands after a full day of shooting, but it is great at helping to tame recoil and would be fantastic with gloves. The trigger was pretty good in both double and single action. I was pleasantly surprise at how manageable the double-action pull was. I'll probably have a trigger job done on it, as I do most of my guns as soon as I get them, but that isn't to say that this isn't a serviceable trigger right out of the box. It was actually better than expected, especially for such a larger caliber. Recoil...This is a 10mm so it kicks, no way around that. As a long-time lover of the 45 ACP, I learned long ago that solid fundamentals like a good grip are the best way to tame recoil, and any flaws in your grip will quickly come to light when this beauty bucks in your hands. The 10mm round is one that, like the 45, you either love or hate. I love it, and a double-stacked magazine of 10mm is about as safe a feeling as any firearm can provide you when you hear something go bump in the night! The integral rail is a welcomed addition, and I put a Surefire on it the second it came home. I have a number of weapon lights, and given the amount of abuse any attached accessories are going to take, I opted for the Surefire instead of one of the other brands out there. When I started using Surefire's 25 years ago, NOBODY could touch them in terms of lumens or durability--no one. The gap has closed, at least in terms of lumens, with several other manufacturers putting out some superb products. The one area where I always trust Surefire though--is durability. A 10mm is a caliber that demands the best, or it will beat the life out of it, plain and simple. Now for the gripes. First and foremost, the front sight is horrid. No dot, no fiber optic, just a dark slab. Fortunately, it is the type that is easily removable,so you can replace it easily enough--which I will before I ever shoot it again. The front sight is so bad that I'd never trust this as a defensive weapon. In anything but the best light, this sight will be less than useless. The second complaint is something I hadn't anticipated. The Witness line is a little different than other semi-autos, specifically the slide. The slide sits INSIDE the frame, not outside like most autos. While that is not inherently a bad thing, there is one time where you have to be aware of it, and that is while manipulating the slide. Using the rear serrations to rack the slide, as most of us do, it will pinch on your fingers. It isn't horrible, and with a little practice, you can get used to it. But coupled with the fact that the slide isn't very tall in the first place means it can be hard to grab it without getting your fingers pinched on a bit. Lastly--I have to knock this down for overall value. This gun wasn't cheap. Even at the excellent prices Bud's has, this was still over $600. At that price, I expect a good value, and that is where this really lets you down. It comes with only one magazine. What? I have purchased guns at less than half this price that still offer two. In fact, this is the only weapon I have ever purchased that only came with a single magazine. On the plus side, additional magazines are pretty cheap, coming in around $25, but shame on EAA for their lack of customer focus in this case. Overall a good purchase and a nice gun, if you enjoy the 10mm round. Not a small gun, but still amazingly light, this would serve most of us well. I'm using it primarily for range shooting, competition, and standing in for my 45 on home defense duty when my HK is out of commission. One other area that I'll be using this is for open carry out in the woods. While I am not a hunter, I want all the help I can get if I run across a cougar or bear out there, and let's face it, a double stacked 10mm is going to save you from any but the most tenacious of beasts! It may seem silly, but my mind was made up a couple of weeks ago when I was out in the woods with a friend of mine. We were hiking along a pretty remote trail. We stopped to take a break and moved up to a dirt road--and that is when my mind was made up. We didn't step onto the road alone. About 25 yards behind us was a cougar, and he stepped onto the road along with us, which means he was tracking us. I wonder what may have happened if there hadn't been two of us... in any case, my colleague happened to have a tag for a cougar. After we both turned and made direct eye contact with the beautiful cat, he still stood his ground. I drew my 45 just as my friend sent a rifle shot downrange and dropped it. Needless to say, I'm going to be carrying this anytime I'm out in the woods from now on! Replace the front sight, or put some luminous paint on there, anything to make it usable. Pick up a couple of extra magazines and you'll have a great weapon for almost any purpose.

Having a little cousin in .40 to this,I just wanted to see all the hype about power to hunt medium game such as deer and boar. Although I thought it would be an unfair comparison to my Sig 229 stainless elite,I can say it was as much if not more of a pleasure. Yes,you can feel the difference in power between the two loads, but the EAA Tangfolio Pro was a pleasure to shoot. I shot everything from low power Sellier Beloit to High Hevy Buffalo Boar loads. This gun digested everything and requested desert. I have my eyes on the EAA Hunter and possibly the stainless in 10mm as well. I can’t believe what I’ve been missing all these years. My motto is “give me more fun power please”. You will love it.

Great 10mm, third purchase from Buds, was a little disappointed because I didn't receive the exact pistol I purchased. It was the same gun just different coloring on the logo. Otherwise great gun.
