Very nice full-sized 1911 in 45ACP. Trigger pull is crisp. Fit and function are top notch. Looks outstanding! I do not like the parkerized finish. It is already showing signs of wear ... when it has not been worn. I also do not like the two-piece guide rod. What a hassle if out in the field in need of a quick cleaning. Would prefer a single full-length rod. Those two complaints about an otherwise outstanding pistol leads me to give only four stars.

Springfield Loaded has performed as anticipated for a quality 1911. Currently have 350 trouble-free rounds thru the Loaded during my 3-weeks of ownership. The Loaded is accurate, soaks up recoil well, has nice sights and I’m a fan of the double diamond Cocobola grips. Purchased four Tripp Research magazines to supplement the two 7-round Springfield magazines that came with the pistol - all magazines functioned well and fed a variety of ammo reliably. This handgun delivers excellent quality tor price paid and I look forward to many years of shooting this Springfield offering - hard to beat a full-size 1911 in 45ACP. As always, Buds made the entire transaction seamless.

Had this for over a year now and have shot it regularly at the range and carry it concealed.Fit and finish are good and have not had any failures to fire with all ammo used.

What a beautiful firearm. Fit and finish are superlative. I really like the parkerizing and cocobolo grips personally. Full length guide rod is OK, but I alredy replaced it with a Wilson Combat GI style for less than $50. I'm 100% please with this 1911.

Nice shooter. I feel it is a basic no frills 1911. Fired 200 rounds so far and haven't had any issues. The 2 piece guide rod is new to me. I'm up in the actor on the issue.
