Kimber Pro TLE II .45 ACP 4" G10 grips - 7+1 Rounds

Excellent pistol. I like the weight of an all steel pistol, feels good in the hand and reduces recoil somewhat. Very accurate and well made, no hicups in 200 rounds.

Very nice pistol, I have between 800 to 1000 rounds thru this gun and it feeds any ammo I put thru it semi wadcutters, hard ball , hollow points 185 grain to 230 grain zero malfunctions. Kimber doesn't build the top of the line 1911 but this is definitely a quality firearm.

Great gun. Was sopping in oil, but in a plastic bag.Wiped up. Re oiled and shot over 150 rounds, not one malfunction. Nice grips. No wiggle in slide to frame. Smooth trigger. Saftey is solid, no mush. Easy to engage, disengage. Buds is fast to ship as usual. I think this 1911 hits a nice mark.... Nice enough for a 1911, but just right for reg to hard use.. Solid 1911. Second Kimber, zero issues.

Exactly as I expected. Kimber gets an opinion from all - good or bad. For a steel (almost) commander with night sights and pretty good front strap checkering, its a fair deal and better than most. I was surprised to find it comes with a flat, steel, checkered MSH with a lanyard hole. All the other small parts are typical Kimber. Slide to frame and even barrel fitment on this one, is all nice and smooth. With good barrel lockup. I've already done my "Kimber Pkg" to this pistol. Ha. Overall I like the pistol, as I was looking for an American made steel Cmdr in 45auto. Initially, it had a lot!! of failures to feed and return to battery. Kimber chambers are tight, always have been. I tuned a Wilson bulletproof extractor I had in the parts box, used the weigand tool, amazing tool, fit a bulletproof slidestop and that helped barrel fitment a bunch! Added a Wilson recoil assembly and flatwire recoil spring. Next range trip all was flawless. Over 500 rounds now and no more issues. I'm confident it would have shot itself out of the small issues, as the parts wore in to each other. But the extractor and tuning was absolutely needed. I can't tolerate a pistol throwing brass at me. Its a good bargain at Buds price. For me its more of a base pistol. Don't hesitate to purchase, you don't need to modify your pistol or replace all the small parts. Its just what I do, and all these parts plus others were on hand. If it doesn't work itself out, contact Kimber and insist they return it for warranty work, after 500 rounds. They insist on this.

Great pistol....... my second TLE. Took it to the range and shot 117 flawless rounds.... 3 types of ball ammo and 3 types of hollowpoints through 4 different brand magazines. No issues at all and very accurate.
