Just a fantastic Gun. The fit and finish is assume and the trigger is fine. The night sights are bright and sighted in dead on. I already have a TLE II in 45 with a rail that I really like, so I kind of knew what I expected from this one. It didn't disappoint. I decided to get this one without a rail to take off a little weight. This one has better balance. Very happy with my purchase.

Shooting this is as close as I have gotten to firing a Kamehameha

Love this gun. My first Kimber and my first 10mm. Just holding it you know you’re holding a quality weapon.

This Kimber TLE in 10mm is a pretty good 1911. I need to break it in more for it to cycle better (or change the recoil spring from 18.5Ibs to a 20-23Ibs later). The recoil felt like a 9mm since it well built. This was the 1st time I used a 10mm and since I'm proficient in 1911s it make since to use this platform. Aside from the cycling problem it's a nice 1911 that Kimber recommends at least 500 rounds to break better. A Wilson Combat flat 23Ibs spring should narrow this down. I still give it 5 stars since I know my way around this.

I have had positive experiences with Kimber but never had a 10mm. The gun arrived in new and perfect condition and shot flawlessly with no problems. Very accurate and I could not have been happier. This and a few previous experiences with Kimber have led me to buy a few more Kimber 1911's which I also am very happy with.

Junk. Soooooo disappointed in this purchase. It fails to feed, fails to eject, and stovepipes. I tried Magtech, Armscor and Hornady, with no success. I cant get three rounds in a row without some type of problem. I cleaned, lubed and racked it 100 times. Called Kimber and they sent a prepaid shipping label. On its way back. They told me three weeks for the repair. Taking a close look at the gun, the feed ramp appears to be separate from the frame and barrel, like some type of insert. Fit and finish is poor on the inside. I was a Kimber fan until now, as I have a Micro carry and an Ultra carry.

First, I don't know how I got this much gun for what I paid. This firearm lives up to the name in ways that I had my doubts about. Great finish and even better fit. Night sights are bright and feeding is surgical. The 10mm round is simply ACCURATE. The power behind the round is unbelievable. Recoil is attenuated by the hefty steel frame and slide. GREAT FIREARM!

In a word, the Kimber Custom TLE II 10mm is "excellent"! Out of the box, the fit, the finish, and the trigger pull were superb. The sight picture is also outstanding in low light (pre-night sight illumination). With regards to shooting it, I have to admit I was a little concerned given the prior reviews listed on this website. I shouldn't have been concerned. I simply wiped off the excess oil and proceeded to run 100 rounds through it, only stopping to reload. Not a hiccup, bobble, hesitation, etc. The fact that it would shoot one hole groups, when I did my part was an extra bonus. Mind you, technically the gun wasn't yet broken in according to some schools of thought. Sure, I've read the stories about finicky 1911s in general, but I've had several 1911s (mostly Colts) over the years and they've always digest what they've been fed. (And they get buttery smooth, the more you shoot them). This Kimber 10mm is no exception. So, in my view, she's a keeper. I've been a Colt guy most of my life, but this Kimber 10mm is causing me to do a rethink. By the way, some external reviews have complained that the grip surfaces (frame & grips) are too aggressive. It's hard to figure what they're talking about. Not gripping the gun properly is about the only way that this should be a problem. So this weekend, we're going to get serious about shooting her and I have a high level of confidence that all will go well. If things go South, I'll be back, giving an update.

When this pistol would function, it was indeed very accurate. However, very rarely would I make it through a full mag without failure to feeds. Very unreliable. I tried different ammo, factory loads, handloads, different brand of mags.... continued failure to feeds.
