I bought this TH40 for an extra around the house protection and a smaller 40 S&W for my wife to use. This is a smaller frame then my Ruger P94 and has a smaller grip which is better for my wife's hand. I like it for conceal carry. We took out to our shooting range and shot about 400 rounds through it. We were both very satisfied with the way it handles while shooting it. It is very accurate, the slide is easy to work and itis easy to take down for cleaning. We shot some loads that were loaded to their max and fired effortlessly through this gun. The grip holds great while shooting and even my wife like the grip while shooting it, for having a smaller hand. The price was so low I couldn't resist buying it. I thought it would be a cheap throw away gun, but it turns out to be just a good if not better then any other 40 S&W's I have. It has a hammer that we like which we think is better then the cap gun type of triggers on other guns. But what a great deal, it came with a nice plastic case, 15 round clip and a 11 round clip, Lock, and a speed loader. It is a nice package deal for the price. I will say Taurus has come a long way and makes some pretty nice guns. I would highly recommend this firearm for men and women. This gun shoots great!
