Been loving & carrying the original PPQ since it's initial US launch under Smith & Wesson years ago. Have appx 7000rds run through it so far and could not be happier. With that said, I was very pleased Walther Arms decided to make it in a 5in version with the original trigger guard mag release for the US market. Everything is the same as the original, just a longer barrel/slide and this version comes with a front fibre optic sight & notched 2 dot rear. Shoots great of course, has a slightly ported slide (top near front sight) and is ready for some new sights & flared magwell so my 15yr old son can get into competitive shooting. Sadly the Q5 Match (with antiquated button mag release) gets more ports on the slide, but I hope Walther Arms will add it's slide to this original PPQ 5in version.
