Tristar Viper Max is what I consider the blue collar waterfowl and turkey feather getter it’s built solid and easy to maintenance shoots everything from pew pew shells to howitzer cannon rounds without a problem the dogs duck blinds and boats and turkey forests and fence’s cans clang and bang and scrape and bounce off of the gun with no tears and swearing bottom line it’s made to hunt and take whatever it bumps into priced right so ya don’t have to take a bank loan and you won’t have to worry it’s gonna function

A great mid priced shotgun. No issues and really has been a reliable gun.

I love all the dressings on the gun. At a great price it has top end camo, stock pads, rubber grips where needed, optic site, etc. BUT right now I am at 200 shells of all sizes 3.5" and 2.75" for the break in period and I have only found ONE brand of 2.75" shells that the gun will cycle reliably. The big shells the gun cycles flawlessly and love everything about it. The target loads are a pain in the butt so far. Failure to eject and failure to load is the norm for the small shells. So incredibly frustrating to have a brand new gun that you are excited to shoot the hell out of and it is malfunctioning most of the time with the most common ammo. I only hope the break in period ends soon and the gun cycles everything I put through it. Then in combination with the pricier details this gun would be a steal. Right now it aint.
