This has been a very fun gun to shoot. I have used it for hunting coyote here in NE with good success.

Love this rifle. Great value for the money. The bolt is a bit stiff as many have complained in reviews and you must be sure the bolt is completely advance before lowering the bolt to avoid marring the stock (though this not a bit deal with the synthetic stock), but this is manageable. I do not think that rifle balance is a problem with the heavy barrel. The accutrigger is sweet. Accuracy is excellent at 100 yards. Plan to shoot at 200 yards next week.

I traded in another firearm and seen an ad for the BMag..... I got a great price on my trade-in and applied it towards this purchase. It shipped fast as soon and the transaction was completed. It is difficult to talk to someone, so you have to rely on online chat and email communication... Rifle was new in box.... Buds seems to be very competitively priced for both firearms and ammo.... you just need to buy in bulk if you want it shipped....

I am so happy with my purchase of the 17 Savage B Mag from Buds Gun Shop and extremely impressed with how quickly it arrived after ordering. Pretty good deal for the money, so far has been very accurate and precise. Will absolutely melt fox with 0 for damage and pretty sure it would take down Bobcats and coyotes with well placed shots. Only 2 problems I have with this firearm is that the bolt is not very smooth and very stiff in closing. The bolt handle is formed in a manner that, coupled with the loose bolt, gives it enough space to rub on the scope. If the action was tightened up it would solve both problems and result in a 5 star but 4 is as good as I can give it right now.

I have heard people complain about the accuracy of these rifles. Personally I'm not sure what problem they are having. I have a dandy in the one I bought from Bud's. I purchased factory bullets in 20 grain and 25 grain. At 100 yds the 25 grain bullets were touching each other. And the 20 grains weren't as tight but still a dang good group for a 20 grain bullet at 100 yds. Great little rifle. Very light weight too. Ammo is cheap, no recoil, and fun to shoot.
