Nice gun for the money Not sure the scope is worth it. shoots nicely. strong recoil. Would recommend this rifle for the price.

Nice rifle. Adjustments on the scope it came with wouldn't work but I had another scope to put on it. Overall it's been a good rifle minus the scope it came with.

Took a little longer than usual to ship, but that's to be expected during the holidays. Arrived in perfect condition and appears to be a quality rifle, especially for the price.

Mossberg patriot 270 blued barrel synthetic stock.the gun came bore sighted and had a dead ringer scope on it,I was skeptical at first but the gun shoots great decent quality for a no name scope bore sighted from buds hut dead on I'd buy this gun again for sure

Bud's may not be the quickest shipper but I always know my product will arrive safely and in good shape. I wouldn't purchase a firearm on the internet anywhere else. I had been looking for a lower cost rifle for pigs and deer. After researching quite a few different guns I decided on the Mossberg Patriot in 270. My version came with the less than great 3-9X40 scope. At the bench, my first three shots were about a foot low (I didn't bother to boresight) but the holes were all touching. Twelve more rounds and I had it dialed in and the holes were still touching. That made me happy. I was using Winchester 130 grain Power-Points. Although I will probably reload for this rifle there really isn't any need to. Mine is very accurate right out of the box. This is a classic designed hunting rifle. The fluted bolt and barrel are nice touches. I love the polymer magazine which is built like a tank. The trigger is VERY nice and the safety operates quietly. The rifle is light enough to carry in the woods all day without tiring you out. Overall I'm very happy with this purchase.

This is a tack driver. Very light gun but recoil is not bad. Moderately big round, new to me the 270 win. I'm used to Mosin-Nagants (similar sized round IMHO) and have a scoped one, but this Mossberg Patriot at 100 yards deposits rounds right on top of each other. The trigger is so easy that you don't have to think about it, just stay on sight and pull it like you're petting a fly without crushing one and wow. Hold on tight. 4 rounds within an inch crowding the bullseye area, made me do the wesley snipes happy dance from 'Major League'. Factory scope was not far off, has hand dials, I'm used to clumsy screw driver dials. I like the bolt, looks like a barber pole, simple, solid, easy to feel that you've captured a round from the magazine when firing repeatedly and you don't want to lift your head up to look within the breech. But you will look the first few times firing, to watch the barber pole grab another torpedo to send downrange. Real good price and deer season opens in the morning. Lotta gun for the doe.
