Glock has started producing them without it but we don’t know for sure which one you will receive. You can call buds and ask someone. If you feel there is a good chance you’ll get a newer one you can order it and if it has the cutout then refuse the transfer and send it back.

Aron, this is full Austrian, the Slide has the Black nDLC Finish and a Black Polymer Frame(not beveled) with the Gen5 half moon cutout

Does this Gen 5 not have the mag flare cut out at the bottom of the grip?

Samuel, This UPC code shows flared mag-well, but does not have the cut out in the grip to pull mag out. If that is the cut out your talking about.

would u suggest on getting an upgrade barrel and a upgrade trigger within the time on getting the Glock 19 Gen 5

Nathan, I would recommend an upgrade trigger only. They've added the GLOCK Marksman barrel with improved rifling and crown for greater accuracy than ever before so the best bang for the buck would be a trigger upgrade.

I suggest spending the money on more ammo and practice time the triggers get better with use plus its more fun

I would suggest getting better sights and upgrade the trigger.

The G19 Gen5 features a no finger grooved, multiple backstrapped, rough textured frame with hundreds of miniature spikes which results in remarkable traction for extreme environments and gloved operators. The frame also features a smooth trigger, reversible mag release, and ambidextrous slide stop. The magazine comes with a floor plate which is extended at the front for faster magazine change, and a orange follower, while the flared mag-well makes it easier to funnel the magazine into the mag-well. I have been a fan since the original Glock 17 that came out in the mid 80's working as a peace officer. When it comes to gun reliability, Glock is second to none, and I don't make this statement haphazardly. I have shot my Glock 19 over 3000 rounds without a single failure. Over the years of owning several different Glock models and calibers and shooting well over 10,000 rounds I have yet to have a failure. It's not the prettiest gun in the world but you can count on it every time. Glock 19 is very accurate, for me it's like an extension of my hand. I recommend this weapon to anyone who's looking for reliable handgun.

I love it! When purchasing my first handgun I wanted it to be reliable, look good, and shoot well. I got all three of those and more in this gun, I'm really happy with it and Buds provided better service than any other website did. I purchased it Monday morning at 12pm and my FFL received it Friday at 3pm. I went and shot it the next day, only 100 rounds of Fiocchi and it was smooth. With the right recoil and trigger control I know this gun will serve me right. It came with 3 magazines, one magazine loader, a brush to clean and a wire lock for the case it comes with. I will definitely be purchasing more often from Buds!

Owned a G19 Gen4 when they first were released and it was the best shooting pistol I have every owned (and there have been plenty). Sold it to Buds, quite easily, and bought a Sig. Never felt the same as the G19. So, I sold it back to Buds and purchased the G19 Gen5. Feels almost exactly as the Gen4 except for the finger grooves are gone which never were bad for my medium to large hands. Still a balanced pistol. As much as I hear about how crappy the stock sight are, I like them a lot. As my eyes get older, I like the white/white contrast. Magazine release is large but I have never had an accidental release. Just a darn good size and feel! No external safeties to worry about. Just keep you finger off the trigger until your are ready to pull it! Great pistol for the novice as well as a seasoned shooter like me! Thank you Buds for a sweet price and simple and seemless buying experience!

Great experience with buds as usual.Used their layaway to buy. Shipped the day after I paid it off and was at my FFL 2 days later. Have only been able to run 150 rounds through the pistol but pretty much what you would expect with glock. No issues at all. Would recommend.
