I am pleased with this shotgun. The break action is easy, not loose. The finish is good. The butt stock and forearm are plastic, but allow for easy modification. A single bead is the sight. Very light, expect some felt recoil. I added some weight to the stock and am considering a wood stock for it. It is rated for 2.75 and 3 inch shells. The choke is not removable, the barrel is smoothbore. This model, the Hunter, has been replaced by the Scout. I will have no issues with buying a Scout rifle based on my experience with this firearm.
