All I can say is.....AWESOME!!! This gun is nearly as old as me and it works better than some new guns I've purchased. Fired 100 rounds flawlessly. Everyone said that the gun would be a pile!! Everyone wanted to shoot this gun. After I told them the price.....well let's just say..you guys will probably have a couple of more sales. Buds service is A#1 for me. Have tried others.....Think I'll stick with Buds!!! Awesome gun...Awesome Company!

Gun required some cleaning but was in GREAT cosmetic shape. This gun is a nice and powerful one, yet it has very little recoil. Took it to the range and shot about 40 rounds without a single problem. My wife liked it so much that she is even considering carrying this one in her purse. On my first 8 shots I was very close to bulls eye and had a 2" grouping at about 7 yards. For $200 you are getting a great gun, you wont regret it. Even though it was not described, I received the gun with 2 x 8 round capacity magazines, an old leather holster with a cleaning rod - thanks Buds!

Picked mine up a couple of months ago. The weapon was in awesome shape. Shipping was fast. I just can't seem to be able to find any 7.62x25 ammo. If anyone knows where I can find the ammo I'd sure appreciate it. would to take this thing to the range.

I am on the whole very happy with this purchase. The exterior cosmetics of the gun are nearly flawless, and all the serial numbers matched. The fact that Bud's includes two magazines is a huge plus. I have only two criticisms: the barrel of the gun is very dark and discolored, which I guess is more of an aesthetic complaint than a functional one. The second is the fact that the included holster came extremely sludgy at the bottom, which I've found nearly impossible to clean out, and the included lanyard arrived non-functional, as it was missing the metal clip that attaches to the gun. This is my second purchase from Bud's, and I will definitely buy from them again!

I picked up my Tokarev TTC yesterday. It come with 2 mags, a holster, cleaning rod and lanyard. The pistol was well oiled but not covered in cosmoline as I've read some are.The slide and frame numbers match. The action and trigger operate like a new gun. I would rate the cosmetic condition as excellent. The holster is in good shape and even has someone's initial on it!!! I would say this pistol is a bargain and you get the nostalgia for free!!! The ammo is readily available and is priced between 9mm and 38 special.
I'll report back after I fire it.

The good - Nice blued re-finish by Cugir arsenal. Slide and mechanism tight and smooth. Frame and slide numbers match. Grips in great shape. Two nice mags. These are very well made guns. Mine dated 1953.
The bad - The serial number on the barrel does not match. Holster very old, stiff, and cracked, unusable really.
The ugly - Barrel dark with crud. Took awhile to clean out with brass brush and solvent. Wear evident, but not pitted. Lots of cosmoline and oil in gun, looks like whole gun dipped in it, complete disassembly needed to clean it all out.
Bottom line: A GREAT value for the money, cheaper here at Buds than anywhere else. Shooting 7.62 X 25 is about the most fun you can have with your pants still on. Ammo is relatively cheap and plentiful.

Received the M57 today, pistol appears to never have been fired, 1953 model. Not a scratch or rust. Came complete with plenty of oil on every part of the weapon but to me surplus should be dripping in oil to prevent corrosion. Watched Hickok45 video on youtube and learned to field strip. Very similar to a 1911. No issues with the pistol however one of the two mags will not stay in the mag well, may have it looked at by a gunsmith but in the meantime purchased a couple of mags online to go with it. Came with holster, tool, lanyard, manual and cardboard box. Giving the rating of 4 instead of 5 due to the mag issue otherwise this would be a 5. At $200 bucks buy one, especially if you are into surplus weapons.
