To be a cheaper 1911-22 you could expect to have some problems shooting bulk ammo. This one however loves Remington bulk ammo for some reason which is great. Not so great is that after about 300 rounds, the feed ramp has developed some scratches/gouges that is keeping any ammo from feeding properly. Buds is currently taking care of that though. Highly recommend purchasing the warranty with this one.

Finally went to the range. Used Winchester .22lr ammo bought at a gun show. Other reviews said to expect jams until you've put about 50 rounds through, to allow for break-in. I had 1 feed jam, and one dry fire, (no stove-pipes) both can be attributed to ammo. Gun performed flawlessly and accurately. My practice was from 5-25 yards, about 200 rounds. This gun is well worth the money!

Awesome plinker, it dose have allot of stove pipes but I guess it depends on ammo. Use very high velocity stuff and it will work great. The pistol did for some reason go full auto and dumped a whole mag on me, I have no Idea why, could not replicate it again!

AS always buds was great. Price, Delivery Time all were spot on. This chiappa 1911 22 is an excellent gun. I took it apart, cleaned it oiled it and took it to the range.
Since I have had at least 20 45 pistols I am aware of the design and feel. This chiappa is a very good copy of the 1911. I fired 150 rds of blazer bulk ammo. I did have a box of hi velocity cci rds in case it would not fire the standard. The chiappa fired all 150 rds without a problem. It fed, fired and ejected all rds. It did what it was supposed to do. The front sight probably has to be
filed a little bit. Point of aim was a little off but when I adjusted for it the gun was right on. I recommend this gun to anyone who wants a low priced, accurate and reliable 1911 22 pistol. U can pay lots more but you wont get a much better gun.
