Very happy with the product. The shipping was incredibly fast. Bud's is fantastic to deal with. I will do business with them again.
The SCCY came in it's cardbord box with two magazines and lock. The gun has no issues. I am very pleased with the design and ease of break down. The two magazines along with the affordable purchase price makes a great first time handgun purchase. The slide is stiff straight out of the box but some practice with the slide and trigger before going to the range will help with this. The lifetime guarantee to the firearm is another strong selling point. The trigger like any firearm is something you get used to.

This has been by far the worst firearm I have ever owned. I received the gun quickly, Buds was great, and picked up from my FFL dealer who is also a friend. He suggested that I not judge the weapon until I had put 200 rounds through it at least. Sound advice. I took 600 rounds of various 9mm factory ammo with me to the local indoor range. Here are the results after 600 rounds.

Initially the weapon refused to go into battery when racking the slide. I know that SCCY recommends using the slide release but I wanted to know if it was possible. 90% of the time the weapon would only go into partial battery when hand-racking.

50% of the time using the slide-release method the weapon failed to go into battery.

I am a long time shooter with 20 years experience handling and firing various weapons. At 21 feet I was shooting 8-9'' groups. My normal carry is a DAO S&W revolver so it wasn't the trigger throwing me off. It was just inaccurate. To compare, I shoot 2-3'' in groups with my 1.87'' barrel compared to this little automatic's 3.1'' barrel.

Every 3-4 rounds resulted in a light strike, every 5-7 rounds resulted in a fail to extract.

After 350 rounds the pin above the trigger assembly fell out. It was easy to shove back in with a spent shell casing but it shouldn't have come loose after 350 rounds.

I contacted the company and explained the problems. They offered to have it shipped back but all I really wanted was my money back. If a weapon doesn't function reliably out of the box it gets sold. So that's exactly what I did. I took an $80 hit and sold it to someone else with the caveat that it was a piece of garbage. Advised him against carrying it.

In conclusion I wouldn't trust this weapon to save my life under any circumstances and for a weapon that is marketed as a concealed carry firearm that is pretty bad conclusion to come to. I would recommend a used Bersa or even a Taurus over this all American made weapon. That's saying something as I am pretty die hard when it comes to owning American made / assembled firearms.

Find something else, do NOT trust your life or you family's lives to a SCCY.

First off, thank you thank you thank you to Buds!!! This was my fourth purchase from you guys and all I have to say is I love you guys! It's beyond tough to beat the product, price and service and trust me I've been and shopped around lots, Buds is King! Now on to the SCCY CPX2. WOW!!! that's all I have to say, this baby can not be beat at any price! Lo price does not mean Lo quality any more my friends. Not only is this baby made in the USA but It is SUPER high quality and devours anything you feed it. I did do a feed ramp polish and complete clean before my initial firing but this is a standard (SOP) procedure of mine. I put 50 rounds of the crappiest wolf steel cased, then 50 of some Spanish 115 grn brass cased then a mag of 124 grn federal hydro shock, all fed fired and ejected with perfection. Accuracy was point of aim at 25 feet and the groups for rapid fire were tight. Some complain about the trigger pull but let me say in my opinion it is very good for it's intended application. I'd say around 8 1/2 lbs. and it is smooth through the take up leading to a crisp break. Yes the take up is long but smooth... after all this is a defensive weapon. Five stars from me.

Nice pistol for the money although not sure if it was me or the pistol after time it was not shooting as accurate as in the beginning. Good for ccw.

I really like this pistol a lot. The travel of the DAO trigger is smooth. Feels like 8 or 9 pounds. Fit and finish of this little pistol is well done just like I order my strip steak. Finally the SCCY is the limit when it comes to eating every brand of ammo I fed it. I can't find anything bad to say about this carry little pistol. Get one!

Was hesitante to buy at first because some people like to bash less expensive guns just because it's not a certain brand name. Glad I bought it , the SCCY is accurate , great single action trigger pull , zero FTF or FTE . This gun ate up all the different ammo I put in it including my EDC ammo. I have around 450 - 500 rounds through it. Would buy again .

Best little 9 I ever pop'ed a cap on. Trigger is a little heavy but gets easer with breakin. This is my new
carry gun, the 38 spl snubby went to the Wife for home defence.

Bought this gun just recently and have not had it at the range... yet. After looking everywhere, I bought an IWB holster for this handgun from Galco (STO460). This holster, which is normally made for the PM-9 seemed a natural fit since both are close in size... and it is!. Thanks Bud's for making the process easy, traceable and headache free, I'll be adding more to my collection in the near future. I'll give you the 5th star once I put a few hundred rounds down range!

First the good; Bud's continues to have excellent service and great prices. They are always my first option for buying a gun. Now for the SCCY CPX-2. The good news is that it seems well built, has a great transferable warranty, is American made, and comes with 2 mags. I am a police firearms instructor so I took it to our range and fired about 400 rounds through it. It fed several kinds of ammo well and I had no FTF or FTE. I did not care for the very long trigger pull, but that is done by design because the gun has no external safety. On the plus side, if you have a light primer strike or some other FTF, yiou can just pull the trigger again and hopefully get the round to go off. The weapon is simplistic in design and super easy to field strip and clean. Now for the ugly; the magazine has a tendency to get hung up when being inserted into the mag well. This is due to not one, but 2 factors. First, the magazine release sticks very far into the well. Second, and much more likely, is the fact that the trigger spring is exposed inside the well. It is mounted vertically against the backstrap of the grip and unless you are perfectly square inserting the magazine, it can get hung up on that spring. There should be some kind of wall or partition built into the weapon so that the magazine well is smooth on all 4 sides, allowing a smooth magazine exchange. This major design flaw takes a gun that could be a nice CCW or off-duty gun, and makes it just a fun range gun. I would be very hesitant to bet my family's lives on being able to perform a flawless magazine exchange in a tense, rapidly evolving exchange of gunfire. But at least it was inexpensive.

The gun has been fired about 222 times no miss fire, getting more use to the trigger, little long pull to my liking, I will make this my gun for carrying I would buy this gun again would give 5 stars, but the trigger is not the best for me
