Craig, Buds website has been having this price glitch on low stock firearms since last weekend. I almost fell out of my chair on a $4170 Taurus Spectrum Pistol. Fred - it is a matte, or brushed, stainless finish - not the polished, bright finish.

The description says 45 acp but the picture says 9mm luger on the slide. Which is it?

Apparently the one you are viewing is .45 acp but the Colt Competition Model is available in 9mm too. I know I have one. A real nice, soft recoiling gun with great accuracy. Nice to have choices.... or you could get one of each.

Casey, Just a stock photo. Read description don't trust photo. This firearm is chambered in 45 ACP.

1911 is the series model of the arm itself. As in mainly what you cosmetically see with your eyes. It is a GOV/FED arm that was commonly used in wars which is why the 1911 series is so popular. It is even used today as a side arm for basic military personal. The Gov 70 is a 45 ACP. Not a 9mm *hints the series 70 GOV model branded to its description.

Honest to God. It only came with one. I’m not mad. I have other magazines. But yeah just wanted to throw it out there. FFL said it only came with one.

Adrian, sorry this happened to you Sir. Every other vendor advertises this UPC code as including only (1) 8rd Magazine. Someone at Buds entered incorrect info on this package. In my opinion, if a vendor advertises something, they should honor it mistake or not. Just see what Buds Customer Service has to say at 1-859-368-0371 9am-9pm EST Mon-Fri. or use the Blue Chat now button at the bottom right corner 9am to 9pm Mon - Sat and 9am to 7pm Sunday.

Well, Adrian, I guess Buds made a mistake when they typed in the specs. I see on other web sites, it is listed as only coming with one magazine, which is normal for Colt 1911s. Sorry. You could contact Buds directly and inquire if you want, pointing out their error. Call at 1-859-368-0371 (9am-9pm EST Mon-Fri) or use the "chat now" button located at the bottom right hand portion of your screen, (9am-9pm EST 7 days a week) and ask. Sure can;t hurt. Have the UPC resdy when you call as well s the exact model information, to speed up the process.
