Shot 300 rounds straight from the box without any hiccups. Excellent pistol.

Awesome pistol. I have been looking for one these for ages and when I saw the 4 minute old deal on slickguns.com I followed the link to Buds and immediately made the purchase. Ordered on a Monday and had it by Thursday. Took it to the range last week and I love it. Fit and finish are great and it is a tight little pistol. Friends remarked on how light it was. Put 240 rounds through it in about 20 minutes before the range closed. Accuracy was very good but I wasnt there to putter around. Out of the box I emptied 8 mags through it in quick succession using three different ammos. It gobbled up the CCI 40 grain copper HP and the Winchester 40 grain copper plated bullets like nothing. With the Winchester 40 grain semi jacket HP it had a few hiccups. Ejected the spent round but didnt strip a new one off the mag. The owners manual and online reviews had warned of this. The pm30 definitely prefers hi power heavy bullets. I just scored 500 rounds of the CCI 40 grain copper plated rounds and cant wait to get back to the range. If you ever see one of these for sale, BUY it.

Great Great Pistol. Couldn't be happier with the performance ran through 150 rounds of 5 different brand of 40 grain (maxi-mag jsp,maxi-mag jhp fiocchi jsp speer gold dot GDHP-SB and winchester PDX1. One jam with the Maxi-Mag JHP. Probably a mag load error. Load your mags by the manual and as far as my PMR-30 performed I couldn't be happier after paying nearly $800.00 for a $350.00 pistol.

Man, these are tough to come by. I was lucky, & was online when they come in. I ordered it that day, & have one, now. They are pretty cool. 30 rounds of 22hmr is quite a bit of firepower, for a single firearm. It is reasonably accurate, has few ftf's or fte's... lightweight. Nice pistol. I'm don't know why the manufacturer's have such a hard time providing the supply, with the demand there is. I've been looking for a keltec 2000k for a couple of years. And now, it is crazy. Time for me to forget any new purchases.. oh, yeah! Except for the new 1911 that i just ordered! :)

Great pistol so far. No failures of any kind yet firing Winchester Super-X JHP's and Hornady Critical Defense rounds. Accuracy is good, not perfect but that may have been just me having a little too much fun shooting the pistol. And it IS fun to shoot. Loud but fun. I just wish they were easier to find because I want another one for my wife. She liked it too.

WAITED to long 1yr. 9 months and the gun is on the cheap side and had a couple problems first time out but now its seems to be ok. I lost the slide release tab and the slide would not stay open on the last shot it seems to be working better second time out . I called Kel-tec they sent a new tab and were very nice . I wouldn't wait for this gun again , but its a blast to shoot . If you load the Mag's wrong you will have feeding problems just follow the directions in the book and start with only 25 rds until they loosen up and Kel-tec recommends very little lube stay light on the oil.

I have two PMR-30s. An early model and the later one with the barrel upgrade. Both are good guns. I installed the 5 inch barrel in the latter gun. The barrels are easy to change, just pull the pin, slide it apart, similar to a Glock. The 5 inch barrel is fluted like the original barrels. Latter PMR-30s are not fluted. The early gun has the gap, which has been fixed on the later gun, but the early gun
works just as well. I go to the range fairly often. I've put about 500 rounds through both guns with no problems. I use the recommended ammo, and load it the way the book says and I have no problems. I haven't noticed any key holing with either gun. They are fairly accurate. I shoot them at about 10 yards with groups around 2 inches. With a better marksman than myself, I'm sure they would do better. The gun is louder than I expected, and the kick is more too. I guess that's to be expected in a 13 oz gun. The gun does what it was designed for. If you like 22 mag, and want to have a lot of firepower in the handle, this is your gun. Not much need for extra mags, 30 rounds is plenty for most situations. If Kel tec was smart, they would make one of these that works with 22 LR. I love my PMR-30s and would recommend one to a friend. Great little gun.

Well a year and a half later I finally got my pistol! I had almost given up hope that kel tec would even produce these bad boys again.... Seeing after all the issues the first gen had. I'm happy with the purchase, took a little longer than I had expected but everything turned out great! Buds service was as expected, awesome. Range time with the pistol is great seeing as I don't have to reload as often as I would with any of my other pistols! Perfect no issues with fte, ftf.
