After all the reviews I felt I had to make up my own mind about this pistol. After receiving prompt service from BUD's and my dealer, I took this little jewel home. Opened the box, took it apart and gave it a good cleaning. Popped off 60 rounds pretty quick at 15 yards. No problems whatsoever!! Fed, ejected and performed just like you would want a handgun to perform.
My wife also purchased one at the same time and received the same results with hers. We purchased these to have handy on the farm. I believe they are a positive purchase.
Ammo used: CCI Mini Mag - 36 grain HP
"Hats off" to BUD's, Bersa, CCI and Baker's Pharmacy for this little set up.

Had a small delay getting this pistol, not buds fault, my gun dealer closed without my knowledge. Buds was great on helpings out on that so hats off to their customer service. The pistol itself is fantastic, first time I ever owned a Bersa Thunder let along one in 22lr but I very pleased. Just make sure you use CCI mini-mags and you will have no problems however the cheaper stuff will cause a few problems. The pistol is light and hardly any recoil and feels good on the hand. Surprisingly accurate too.

I have the matte bersa 380 and really like it, so i thought i'd get the 22 version to train, plick with and save some money on ammo. I'm a little disappointed with the 22 version, the trigger guard came with a couple of deep scratches in it, but i decided i could live with that. My 380 has a quality feel to it that the 22 does not. I took it to the range yesterday and the top of the magazine busted and the follower cracked and got alot of deep scratching on it. I had to quit before i even got 20 rounds thru it, because there were no extra mags avail anywhere. I am a small woman and not very strong so i don't think it was my fault. check your mag carefully BEFORE accepting transfer is my advice. We'll see what happens when i can get some more mags.

Great feel in my hand. Solid build quality with easy to use features. I have read reviews about this gun being picky on ammo, well due to the existing gun climate and the lack of ammo availability all I have currently is Remington Golden Bullets High Velocity. These are cheap and dirty but i fired well over 100 rounds with only 1 FTE and no other issues. I did give it a good cleaning before I shot it though. The gun seems to be very accurate as it will outshoot my abilities. Really fun to shoot and pretty easy to take break down and clean. So far I have no complaints about the gun. I will probably make the Thunder 380 my next purchase.
