This pistol is very heavy for a 9mm, and the sights absolutely suck. The gap between the front dot and the rear dots is zero, making sighting difficult at best. Also, when the dots are aligned, the top of the sights are not aligned. I non't know why they screwed up the sights so much, but this makes this pistol a very poor choice. I have over 50 pistols, and this is not my favorite. Get anything else.

Excellent firearm. Above average accuracy with outstanding reliability. Traded it for a compact pistol for concealed carry. Excellent option for home defense.

I wanted to give this product high ratings but could not. Don't get the all black on unless you want to refinish it all over. The finish is not durable at all and any little thing exposes metal. I was disappointed since my other Sar pistols have a good finish. That being said, the gun shoots very good, and is reliable. The trigger pull is more than I expected, but it's smooth, not gritty. All in all, the price, which I thought was a steal, ends up being about what this gun is worth.

I waited for three month and at least 600 rounds through the gun before writing the review. The gun has pluses and minuses and I will discuss them in detail. On a positive side It is a very high quality gun, but It was so tight that DA became manageable only after 500 rounds, it is like 12lb now. SA is crisp, but not light, about 6 lb. Definitely not DA 8lb, SA 4lb as I read from some reviews. I also had a problem with the slide not moving back after the last round,I even wrote Bud about that, but after 500 rounds the problem disappeared. Probably there were breaking in problems. The gun is heavy, 33oz empty, and I would have expected light recoil, no the recoil was not light but manageable. I used only high quality ammunition both 115g and 124g, not a single problem. Now the sights, I get used to have some space between front sight and U shape rear sight, it helps to aim the pistol. On this pistol there is no gap between front and rear sights, so I have to aline white dots. When the white dots are alined and centered, the top of the front sight is below the top of U shape rear sights. On most of the guns the tops and the white dots are alined together. I found that when the dots are aline the gun shoots just to the center and very accurate. . When I aline the tops, it shoots high. This problem would be easily solved with an elevation adjustable rear sights, but the rear sight was just windage adjustable which was not necessary so far. In conclusion, this is a good gun, definitely worth the money. I would not recommend it as a first gun or for a beginner, but experienced shooter may extract more goods from the gun. I strongly recommend buying life time warranty from Bud. My experience with their customer service is very positive. For all above I give it four stars

Where to begin First of all, I am so thankful to live within an easy drive to Buds Gun Shop. The service that they provide is second to none in the area where I live. The number of products and services that they offer is staggering compared to smaller stores, yet they still deliver an individualized level of customer service. The SAR ST10 is an incredible value in firearms coming out of Turkey. I have had the fortunate opportunity to have owned and tested many of the top models coming out of this historic country. The SAR ST10 comes as a kit with lower end holster, double magazine holster, substantial case, cleaning tools, and the firearm. I was apprehensive at first, nearly changing my mind to go with another handgun. I decided that the weapon felt like a quality piece in the hand, and was worth the risk given its price point. I made the choice to purchase this firearm and see what it could do. Since I was already at the range, I decided to take it straight from the case, and into the range. This goes against my better judgment. I am one to take a weapon home and completely break down the weapon. I will treat the firearm with Frog Lube, and make sure that everything is completely functional. I may polish feed ramps, smooth out trigger parts, or various other items. So taking a firearm out of the box covered in dust, loading it up, and firing it seemed crazy to me. I was extremely surprised by the incredible accuracy of this firearm. I was able to place all 50 rounds of Federal 115 grain round nose in one massive hole. I didn’t experience failures of any kind, and was impressed by the lack of recoil. I took the weapon home and detail cleaned everything on the gun. The build quality was top notch, and compared to my older Sigs. The sights are nice and the rear sight is adjustable. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this weapon to anyone looking for a handgun. It is a weapon that could do it all. Light weight alloy frame, high capacity magazines, chrome cold forged barrel, and excellent accuracy. Bottom line, buy this pistol.

Bought this gun because I have a SAR K2 45 that I love. Fit and finish on the ST10 are on par with my K2, in fact I think it probably functions a little smoother and has slightly better slide to frame fit. So far I have only taken it to the range once and put about 160 rounds through it, but I had zero malfunctions. I shot it right out of the box without even cleaning it and used a variety of ammo. Point of impact was slightly higher than point of aim, but not an issue, just had to hold at 6 o'clock. Firing single action, the trigger is not incredibly light but breaks cleanly with a short reset. The double action pull is pretty heavy though, but I don't mind for the sake of safety. If I was to carry this gun I probably wouldn't even use the manual safety; I'd carry it with a round in the chamber and the hammer at the half cock position. Also, I was pleasantly surprised that the gun came with a belt slide holster and dual magazine carrier, which I wasn't expecting. A negative would be that I was expecting the rear sight to be fully adjustable like the K2, when it is actually only drift adjustable. BTW no adjustment was needed there. Gun hit dead center left to right, only slightly high like I mentioned before. All in all I give it a 5 for being a helluva bargain.

This does not reflect on Buds at all but mainly EAA. They came through with a great gun and great price. This more reflects the customer service at EAA but anybody buying this gun being imported from EAA needs to know. I got my St10 and brought it out the first time to the range and had a very bad time. It would fire a round and then the trigger wouldn't reset but just kind of squish back into the trigger guard. It seems that it has two clicks to fully reset and if you fire then gun and pull back on that first click it always misfires. You have to let it make a second click to fully reset and then it works. Not something you can rely on for anything let alone even being a range gun, fire then nothing....rack slide, fire and then nothing...repeat. The gun itself it beautifully machined and is fitted very tight. The one round we could fire was right on but the second never happened. The gun arrived from Buds on 10/15 Wednesday. This all happened on 10/18 Saturday. I made my first call on 10/20 Monday. Today is Nov 3rd. I finally got through to a gunsmith. Right out of the gate, he was being highly contemptuous and I didn't know why as it was the first time I ever talked to the guy or anybody there past a secretary for that matter. I tried to explain what my gun was doing wrong but he didn't want to hear it. Then towards the end of me explaining what it was doing wrong he finally says I had called 10 times and everybody told me the same thing every time I called which was to "send the gun in" so that's what I need to do. Um, no. First off just checked my cell phone which records calls back for months of each and every call and I called 10/20, 10/21, 10/23, 10/31 and today 11/3 and never got past an operator that said to either call back as they were busy, just left or that she would send the message for them to call back. I hope their gunsmithing is not as bad as their customer service because it stinks. They were apparently getting the messages to call but ignoring them. This is the first and last gun I will purchase that has EAA stamped on it. No gun manufacturer can turn out 100% for every gun and I understand that. I''m sure the gun will eventually run so for SAR directly, I give the gun high praise for a quality along with Buds also as the price can't be beat anywhere. For the importer though, they need to wake up and read all the horrible reviews on the internet on their customer service and shape up.

this is a quality handgun, I was fairly accurate out of the box with it. The box it came in was a litlle weather beaten but the gun still looked flawless. I love a good deal, and to me this handgun is definitely that.

I was torn between the Sarsilmaz ST10 and a FNH FNX9. I decided to buy this gun because I'm just not a fan of paying hundreds of dollars for a gun with a plastic stock. Took about a week and a half from the time I ordered till it arrived at my FFL. I used Electronic Check so that slowed things a bit. But still very fast. When I opened the case the lower plastic molded separator was broken badly. I don't blame Bud's, most likely that was UPS's fault for rough handling the package. The gun had a small ding on the side of the top slide near the front sight. Nothing major that touch-up paint couldn't fix. The rest of the gun was flawless. The quality of this gun is amazing. Every part fits snugly and no rattles. The gun has some heft to it. The stock is CNC'd aluminum and the top slide and barrel are made of stainless steel. One of my annoyances with most semi-auto pistols is the gap between the stock and the top slide. To me it just detracts from the looks of a gun. Fortunately this gun has no annoying gap. The gun fits very snugly in my hand. WARNING if you have small hands this gun is not for you. Even though it doesn't have interchangeable backstraps like many guns now days. Because of the shape of the back of the handle on this gun, I really don't need any adjustment. The single action trigger pull is about 8 pounds (quite stiff). This gun has a secondary single action pull. If I pull the trigger slightly until I hear a click, the trigger is set into a half pull single action position. Still an 8 pound pull, just half the pull distance. I can also set the trigger into that position by pulling the hammer back. Which is nice, it keeps the hammer off the firing pin and a shorter single action pull. The double action pull is about 3 pounds and is very crisp. The safety on this gun is just that, it DOES NOT have a decocker function. And the gun is for right hand operation only. I'm a left handed shooter but I can still eject the magazine with my left middle finger. I have to operate the side release with my right hand. As for how it shots, it's has almost no recoil. Getting back on target is very quick. Some of my friends shot this gun and they were amazed at the lack of recoil. Probably due to it weighing more than a gun with a plastic stock. I could probably limp wrist it and it would still feed. Seems to be very accurate. Wasn't able to do any serious target practice yet. The flat black on the gun makes it look very tactical. The only shiny thing is the barrel. As you may have noticed, this gun looks very similar to the H&K USP 9mm. That is a good thing, because it gives me a lot of holster choices. The top slide is the exact same dimensions of the USP. I bought a Serpa Blackhawk USP Competition holster and the ST10 fit it perfectly. Considering buying a USP threaded tactical barrel just to see if it would actually function properly in my ST10. The ST10 barrel is almost carbon copies of the USP 9mm. Also the magazines from the SIG P226 will fit this gun. Life is good. Thanks to Bud's for making my buy a gun online so easy. Top notch company in my book!

First of of all, Buying from Bud's is the only way to go. Top notch products and service. Don't waste your time elsewhere. Now to the ST10. Wow. Quality through out. Like an HK USP but less expensive, aluminum frame instead of polymer and more comfortable grip with less recoil.Shot it side by side with my HK USP and Sig P226. May sell the other two now. It's that good! Will shoot anything you put through it. Shot 350 rounds of various ammo through it and it gobbled it right up. No failure to feed, eject , perfect. I like it better than my Glocks also. May buy a few more before price goes up. Folks , do your research, sararms.com or google Sarsilmaz ST10. EAA is just the importer. This is an excellent pistol. You will not be disappointed. ST10+Bud's= Total Satisfaction
