This is a great gun, it has perfect balance and weight for the .45 load. Recoil is minimum due to it's hefty weight, despite it's compact size. We especially like the 13 1 capacity, beats a 1911 hands down, and it comes with 2 MAGS. Take down is straight forward like any striker type. A little hefty for a carry weapon but not impossible. For home defense, ideal. We use it at the range with cheap aluminum rounds and never had a FTL or jam. At home we keep it filled with defense rounds. We'd prefer not to have the grip safety but it's not such a nuisance, maybe a good feature for resale. All in all we'd rate itt a 9/10.
