Excellent carry piece. Smooth and accurate. Comes with 3 mags. Great fun at a good price. Have purchased several guns, ammo and mags from Buds and never had a bad experience.

I like the gun and everything was good except for the barrel looking like it was shot a ton and having a decent amount of wear on the barrel. I know they are test fired and all of that but this gun came with more wear than 20 year old pistols that I have.

This is an excellent choice if you plan to get your CCL. The compact pistol provides good stopping power as well as concealment, comes with 3 different size mags, pinky extender and a lock. I ran cheap JHP rounds through it and the FNS40C had no issues with loading or ejecting them. This is a great little compact pistol.

I own both the full size FNS .40 and the compact. Good ergos, good trigger. I much prefer the "U" rear sight with a dot up front. Very fast and easy to see. In fact, I install a version of this on all my carry guns. As a long time pistol shooter and instructor, I do a lot of "tweeks" to new guns. The Conscious required next to nothing. Couldn't be happier (well, maybe one in .45 or .357 Sig).

Yet another reason why I will continue buying from Buds, the pistol arrived perfectly have not had a chance to take it out yet, but from payment to FFL was 3 days, this is insane most places don't even clear payment in 3 days and in the time my new firearm was in my hands LOVE IT!

Perfect fit and finish. 200 hundred flawless rounds so far. FNH makes the slide and the recoil spring heavier on all their 40 caliber handguns. They also put a steel dual recoil spring set up on this compact. So the felt recoil is the softest I have felt after shooting many brands. Yes this gun is 3 to 5 ounces heavier than other brands compacts but the trade off is a 40 caliber compact you can actually control in rapid fire. The trigger break and weight is perfect in my opinion. The reset gets stronger after a few hundred rounds making it good but not great in my opinion. The grip texture is on the aggressive side but I prefer grip over pure comfort especially on a compact that only gives you space for two fingers with the standard flat baseplate. I like the arched back strap over the flat that is included as an option. It fits my medium large hands best and I feel it makes me correctly grip high on the gun when I pick it up. Very pleased I bought this gun from Buds before I even handled one. Though I did already have a full size FNS in 9mm that has been perfect for over 1,000 rounds now. I went with this no manual safety model since that is what I'm used to but FNH does offer all their FNS models with or without manual safety
