I have had the Sig P232 for about a year and a half. It is a very solid gun and works well for concealed carry. I actually ran it several times at combat matches and did quite well with it.It is a little tricky to do a field strip and cleaning on but after a few times it is easier. It only comes with 2 magazines and extras are expensive and hard to come by.
All and all it is a well made, dependable, durable firearm. The .380 caliber is a little on the borderline side power wise and I would recommend the 9mm as an option.

I have carried this weapon for over 4 years now and I can say nothing but praise for it. Easy to carry, easy to clean and extremely accurate.

The best .380 on the planet bar none. As Ferris Bueller stated "if you have the means, I highly recommend one", that is to say not the cheapest .380 but as in nearly all things in life, you get what you pay for. In this case one beautifully engineered German made pistol. It trully is superbly made with all the details the Germans are known for. Yes there are smaller .380's out there, but the overall shootability and ease of concealability is close to perfection. I had a Walther PPK/S years back and while it was a tad smaller and every bit as beautiful as the P232 it was a turd. It just refused to function reliably despite numerous types of ammunition, a trip back to Walther and an extended break in period. This is not so rare with the Walthers, as I have had friends with similar problems. Thats were the P232 shines, it is stone cold reliable, with no FTE or failures to feed with over 500 rounds I have shot out of this since I picked it up this last weekend. It is also surprisingly accurate. Yes I know, Bersa Taurus etc make .380's, but I guess I am a snob, give me a Sig, HK, or anything thats not made in South America. I just don't care for them and can afford to spend more for a firearm that has a squeaky clean pedigree. So buy whatever you like, but this is one perfect .380. I wish I had gotten the night sites, as I am not sure I like the red dots, they may grow on me though, that is my only small complaint. I also am in the minority as to liking the magazine heel release, very European and keeps the controls on the side to a minimum. Also, the best trigger pull I believe on any "pocket" pistol I have ever shot. Try one.
