Sig Sauer P226 ASE .40 S&W 4.4 - 4.4" Barrel, 10 Rounds

The Sig Sauer P226 ASE TALO model is a quality made, nicely weighted and flawlessly functioning firearm in an attractive package. Sig Sauer has manufactured a truly fine quality product with this firearm. The pistol has the SigLite night sights, custom grips and a 1/8" SRT (short reset trigger). The P226 is easy to take down for cleaning. I am very pleased and will consider this my NEW "GO TO" pistol.

1 month after purchasing a certified preowned P229 (CPO) and loving it I decided to get this P226. This ASE Talo comes with a short reach and short reset trigger as well as siglight night sights which make it fantastic. After a thorough cleaning and lube this gun is good to go right out of the box. I've fired 500 rounds without a single malfunction like a 226 should. The only modification I've done is replace the plastic mainspring seat with a billet aluminum one. Not at all required but one less plastic part gives me piece of mind. I added an Olight PL-2 Valkyrie light to the rail and now it's my bedside gun. This gun is a very limited Talo edition made in 2016 and is priced at around the same price as a plain standard 226 so it's a great deal. These Elite versions of the 226 are as good as the far more expensive Legion series and better looking in my opinion. If you are looking for a feature packed limited edition Sig 226 then this is the one for you. Get it while you can as it was only made in 2016 in limited numbers.

Shoots good and looks good. I own a few Sigs and I have never been disappointed. Study the factory specs, and if that is what you want then buy this pistol. High quality through and through.

Nice but not a perfect match of the finish between the slide and frame (the picture Buds uses is of an all stainless P226- not the correct gun). Otherwise, a great gun. .
