Great pistol at a great price. It has a great fit and finish, with to hell and back reliability.

I love almost everything about this gun. It arrived at my FFL dealer without a flaw. I took it to the range and fired (85 rounds): 44 rounds of Federal Champion 230 grain FMJ, then another 30 rounds of Federal American Eagle 230 grain FMJ, then 11 rounds of of Winchester PDX1 Defender, 230 grain (bonded jacketed hollow point), all without a hiccup. The action was very smooth, and the trigger was consistently smooth. When firing a new gun for the first time, I always compare it to an equivalent firearm. My new Sig P220 was outshot by my Colt Series 70 1911. The Sig seemed to consistently shoot a bit to the left, whereas my Colt seemed more accurate. I doubt the 1/2" barrel difference had anything to do with that either. Regardless, this Sig came with two 8 round magazines, beaver tail, and Sig's short reset trigger. The frame rails were black (not the FDE color), but I inspected the gun carefully and the black rails did not show when the slide was fully forward. I'm giving it 4 out of 5 because I thought the accuracy would be better, but I'm happy this gun is now part of my collection; she's a real beauty. Bud's did good as always.
