As with every NAA Mini-Revolver, the hammer need not rest on an empty chamber. Using the original half-way notch cylinder, the hammer may rest safely and securely without chance of accidental discharge.

North American Arms' .22 Magnum can be used with all popular .22 Magnum ammunition, including .22 Magnum shot shells (called Snake Shot by some manufacturers).

I really like this little revolver however it did have an issue, the little rod that secures the cylinder kept working its way out. I contacted North American Arms and they promptly sent me another one and now it works fine . I carry this when I need deep concealment and it is almost guaranteed not to make your pants fall down. A gun you carry is better than the one you keep in the safe and forget at home. For sure a last ditch defense weapon but a loud and nasty report when shooting 22 Magnum rounds. I have had endless fun watching the shocked faces of my friends when they feel the felt recoil of this tiny revolver. Also be prepared to wash the extensive powder off your hands that emanates from the gap between the cylinder and the barrel .

This is my first derringer sized handgun. The quality of workmanship in this mini revolver is outstanding. It is a beautiful pistol. I have been practicing regularly at the range to master shooting it. It takes quite a while to get the hang of shooting this gun accurately at a distance. I can now consistently get 2-3 inch groups at 7yds, and 3-4 inch groups at 10 yards. That is amazing accuracy out of a 1 5/8 inch barrel with 22lr and mag rounds. I carry with the mag cylinder and put it in the NAA pocket holster quite often. You don't even realize you have it in your pocket.
Plus, Buds was great!

This is a great little pistol, bought as a gift. I have the 1 1/8 barrel mag and 22LR already, and it's surprisingly accurate. Please note, these don't come with the zippered bag shown, just the standard cheap plastic box (at least it's not cardboard). I was a little surprised that the gun was sorta dirty when it arrived... especially the cylinder. I know they test fire them, but they should give it a quick cleaning afterwards. No biggy.
The quality of the machining looks OK. As popular as these are, they maybe taking some shortcuts, for instance: the bore almost appears to be not quite centered in the barrel. It's not severe, and may be due to the way they crowned the muzzle -- it looks almost like they did it by hand.
It's no S&W. But, it's no jimenez either! the minor issues above wouldn't stop me from buying it again. Good value, great little EDC gun.

Absolutely love this mini-revolver. Have an older Mag only. Now I have the dual mag/22lr combo. Great concealed carriers. Love them both. Nice for women. Tyvm Bud.

Great price and service from Bud's. Good quality mini revolver from NAA. Fun to shoot and show, but limited to a novelty and collector piece as the ballistics and accuracy are pathetic in such a small short barreled package.

I had no problems, and found an FFL that only charged $20. The stock grips print a bit much for me, and I might keep an eye out for a cheap set to sand down thinner. Can't beat the mini revolver for reliability. 22 Mags bought at gun shows (as I did) may be old and have like a 15 percent dud rate, though. Suggest only keep new Walmart CCI 22 mags in it for concealed carry, but develop your shooting skills at the range with dirt cheap 22 LRs. With enough practice, you'll pay for the combination extra cylinder. Excellent for concealment. You can even carry it around your neck, it's so small.

Love my NAA mini. Easy to carry and conceal. After firing many, many rounds at the range I've got a good sense of how it shoots. Definitely a close range defense tool, but a laser lengthens it's effective distance. His pistol does take some time to find a comfortable and effective grip style. Hornady Critical Defense rounds make this a potent defender.

For those of you that want the skinny get the gun.

For those of you who want to hear a little bit more about my experience with this weapon continue reading.

Construction; first of all this gun is amazing workmanship and craftsmanship to go into building in NAA revolver is breathtaking and unbelievable and in many cases rivals many pieces of art.

With that said I've got about 300 rounds through the revolver. I've had no misfires I have had no problems of any kind.
Any flaws in your shooting will be made known on this little revolver for the sight radius is small and while I was able to achieve tennis ball sized groups from 7 yards and grapefruit sized groups from 15 yards my friend couldn't get the piece of cardboard from 5 feet away.

Shooting problems will be exaggerated on this weapon. With that said the accuracy of these little revolvers is amazing for the size and length. This also explains why on YouTube some people can hit a Coke can from 30 feet away but others can't even hit a 2 liter from point-blank range.
Some things I did to help my shooting with this weapon was to realize that there is no backsight at first on the back seems like it was a back sight but it was causing me to shoot low when I realized this I was able to shoot at the right height. Also the trigger is not as easy as most single action revolver's so like I should double action revolver's I used the first joint of my finger to pull the trigger.
