Introduced in 1997, the Guardian 32ACP is one of the few guns that fits comfortably in your pocket. The combination of small size, high quality, an great stopping power have made it NAA's most popular Guardian. over the years, NAA has made many subtle improvements to the design, based in part on the many suggestion they have received from their customers. The result is an extremely high quality gun that's convenient, reliable, and very effective.

Ordered on Saturday night, arrived at FFL Tuesday afternoon. Yeah, that's what I'm talking about.

First of all, if you've never seen this firearm, you'll be surprised when you do. This thing is small. REALLY small. The smallest gun I own, even more than the Taurus 738. Slightly heavy, yes, but that's what you get with a stainless steel firearm.

With only 50 rounds through it, my initial opinion is very positive. Yes, the sights are the thinnest of any firearm I have seen, but I acclimated pretty fast. Using Fiocchi FMJ ammo, I had no FTF, but did have a couple of well-know stovepipes on the last round fired, but this clears easily. I hope with a proper breaking in period this may go away.

The trigger is really strong - easily a 12 pound pull. It doesn't get any lighter the closer you get to the break. This is NOT a firearm for weak hands.

The recoil is really rough on the trigger finger - my finger bounced against the trigger guard after each shot - not fun. But it does go BANG. Boy does it ever. The 73 grain Fiocchi .32 acp has a stated muzzle velocity of 1,000 fps, with 162 foot pounds of energy.

But the most important element of any firearm is accuracy - and this thing is accurate. At seven yards I was keeping most rounds in a three inch group. So I'd say point of aim is spot on.

I was pleasantly surprised to find it shipped with two magazines, one flush, one with a pinky extension. Accuracy was the same with either.

I'll let others fight the battle of whether this firearm is good for self-defense or a back-up gun. All I know is it's accurate and loud and good ammo is available and affordable right now. I've waited nearly two years to acquire the NAA .32 Guardian, and really, it's worth the wait.

Not a bad little pistol. Bought it back in Feb, but I've only fired approximately hundred rounds of fmj and corbon powerball. Tolerances on the gun are tight and the trigger pull has to be like 12lbs, but if you are use to a revolver then it shouldn't be a problem. This gun had no hiccups with fmj rounds, but it didn't like corbon powerball at all. Unfortunately I haven't tried traditional hollowpoints since I had to leave out the states due to my job as a contractor in Afghanistan and I didn't have time to go buy rounds, etc... Overall, it may of had better results with the corbon if I properly broke the pistol in with 200 rounds or more. For a pocket gun, you can't go wrong. I gave it four stars, but truthfully I didn't have time to put the gun through it's paces.

Buds got me a great deal on this packet pistol. I really love the solid construction of the frame. The gun is dead on accurate at 25 yards. It fires almost all rounds flawlessly (Hornady hydra shock being tricky some times). I have put about 500 rounds through the firearm and have had to replace a few springs on the trigger. Internal parts seem to be brittle. I would recommend this pistol because of the beauty, performance, and construction (including the life time guaruntee that NAA has honored with me without hassle). If you want something really light, this is not the gun for you, but it is very compact. Much more so than my Kel Tec P3at.

The gun is beautiful and substantial. It came from the factory with several light scuffs and a few tiny burrs, but this seems to be typical of products by NAA. Otherwise, it seems very well made. It also came from the factory dripping with oil and a little gunky, necessitating a cleaning and a proper oiling before first use. Bud's had the lowest price around. The ordering process was extremely clear at every step and offered multiple opportunities to cancel the purchase in case I changed my mind. Buying from Bud's was a great experience.
