I liked this pistol right out of the box. Good weight in my hand, smooth action, kind of long trigger pull but that's normal for Magnum Research pistols.

Let me start out by saying I'm not a gun expert but I do know what I like. A little background on myself I was in the military and having to qualify on standard issue weapons. I was very hesitant on a side arm not made of steel. But I love this weapon. I have place hundreds of rounds through this gun and only minimal issues. All were ammo related. If this is your first second of whatever gun. This is a great choice. I'm looking for a carry weapon and I'm staying with a shorter barrel Baby Eagle II.

An absolute delight.. purchased this for my wife's first hand gun.. took it to the range today and she absolutely loved it.. worked our way up from a .22 then a 9mm then this amazing .40 S&W baby eagle II.. I was an avid shooter many years ago but for some reason I stopped (my father passed and that's what we did together) any who made 2 purchase's from buds for Christmas .. one for me and one for my beautiful wife in hopes to resurrect my passion.. I believe it worked.. even though my dad might be gone, it was my dear wife that actually sparked this flame... this baby eagle II is wonderful.. 150 rounds today between us today with not a single flaw.. she loves it.. shot 180gr.FMJ FN factory reloads from LAX ammunition.. not a single hiccup... AMAZING GUN... better yet I have its DAD and fired off a few rounds.. everyone stopped shooting.. an IMI 50 Cal desert eagle. been 9 years and it felt GREAT!.. this IWI 40 baby eagle II is an outstanding fire arm...thank you BUDS!!! I highly recommend both.. this gun and getting it from Buds.. OH.. I didn't purchase 2 of these.. just one for my wife..i bought a 1911 A2 enhanced by Tisas for me FYI!

One of the "Best" handguns money can buy! One of the most beautifully designed guns in the world! Fits the hand very comfortably! Shoots amazingly with no jams! I can go on and on about this baby! I've owned Glocks and Tauruses all my life, and either of those still very nice guns made me feel like I do know with my Polymer Baby Dessert Eagle .40 Caliber. I am a Senior US Marine Corps Officer and Military Direct Action (SWAT) Team Leader. This is an "exceptional" tactical firearm. Many reviews have been written about the benefit of the "all steel" BDE II, but this polymer version is lighter, has very little muzzle recoil (in .40 S&W), and is more durable and environmentally resistant than an all-steel frame weapon. I put 300+ rounds through it today; no FTF, no FTE or any other problems. As to the sale, the Bud’s price was cheaper than most military/LE discount vendors, and the weapon arrived in new condition still in the factory plastic shipping bag from Israel. The only negative note was shipping was a bit slow on this pistol (7 business days). Other weapons I’ve purchased from Buds were shipped in as little as 2 days from receipt of payment - but for some reason, this one took the full 7. Still, Buds Customer Service was first rate whenever I called for a status check and I would do business with them again. So if you’re looking for a combat proven weapon (and not a weekend plinker), this BDE II Polymer .40 is the one.

Very impressed with Buds! I was skeptical at first I really must say,but they held true to their word. Gun shipped received within two weeks. As for the gun I love it. My husband talked me into getting one for my carry gun. The design is awesome. I have been shooting for quite some time and own multiple pistols glock ,xd's and more. This gun is probably one of my favorites. Despite some of the negative feed back I got from friends and people at my local range. Right out the box it was oiled and ready for the range. I was worried it'd be a little large for my hand. That wasn't the case. Great bang for the buck! I will be doing most of my shopping with Buds. Thanks again. If your considering purchasing from buds I highly recommend them.

Very accurate, light trigger in SA which is smooth as well. It's a surprisingly pleasant experience using this one. Initially it had FTF after about 100 rounds, but some oil took care of that immediately. I've had 500 rounds through this now and no more issues at all.
