Always a good price. Great catch on the pre shipment inspection and sending the revolver out quickly.

What can I say? An American classic, an original in stainless steel. The eternal beauty of the design will keep these guns in production forever. My only disagreement is about the rubber grips that spoil the noble lines of the gun\'s design. Each time I buy a model 60 I dress it up with service type imitation ivory grips. That brings out the original beauty of the design. Of course we all have our own taste about guns, I cannot imagine mine with those ugly rubber grips. Thank You, Bud\'s. Great gun, good price.

Usual 5 star service from Buds, but unfortunately, this S&W suffers from a sticky cylinder that takes a bit of pressure to swing open. Not a lot, you don\'t have to use major force, but it requires a side-press to open. My gunsmith says it might improve with use, but I may send send it back for warranty service.

Buds was great.. ordered online with intent on putting on lay away at the Lexington store but I couldn't wait that long and went ahead and paid for it two weeks after putting it on lay away!... the model 60 is a great gun .... absolutely a dream to shoot in single action and shooting357's is not bad either... would recommend Buds and the model 60!!

fit and finish are perfect. very good looking revolver. .38 special ammo is very accurate and comfortable. .357 ammo make this little gem a two handed proposition. i will stick with the .38 special ammo. this revolver is now my carry weapon, i also carry a s&w shield 9mm. i like this s&w 60 better.

The size and weight are good for pocket carry (about 28 oz loaded). I first tried some standard 38 spl, 38 spl +p, and 357. The first two cartridge types worked fine at 7 yds. After I ran two loads of the 357, the range officer came down to ask what I was shooting. The flash, and especially the bang, were attention getting. The gun recoil was very pronounced. It took longer to get back on target; compared to the 38 spl rounds. Weeks later, I tried some Buffalo Bore, short barrel ammo. This ammo is supposed to flash less. I do think the flash was reduced. The recoil seemed about the same. Again, another range officer came down to ask what I was shooting. The 357 bang was so loud; I suspect it might put varmints to flight all by itself. I also have the mod 60 w/ a 3 in barrel. For me, there is a marked difference in flash, bang, and accuracy. My shots started to open up at 10 yrds. But, the 3 in was accurate, for me, out to 15 yds. I am going to have to get used to the sound and recoil. I would like to carry the 357, but for now, I am going with the 38 spl. I have a S&W mod 686, w/8 in barrel, in 357. I got it for hunting. The experience of 357 shot from these smaller, lighter revolvers is very very different.

Took a little longer than expected to get this. Had problems with my FFL though, not Bud's. Amazing little pistol. Built like a Swiss watch as always with a Smith. I do have a slight catch in the trigger pull in single action mode. Something I'll have to polish out. This should do nicely for a CCW pistol. Bought a Bianchi Black Widow belt holster for it. Fits like a holster should! Rides high and easily will conceal this little revolver with just a t-shirt. Excellent buy for anyone that loves revolvers and want's the best for CCW use. Thanks Bud's. This was my first order and won't be my last!!

Very good looking gun, fit and finish is great Smith quality, I opted for this over the 637 or the like for the extra weight and durability of all steel and the capability of 357 mag. I am going to change the grip, they are nice and comfortable for the range I just want something smaller for carry purposes. I also took out the safety lock, the lock is extremely stupid and political correctness at its worst, I did not take out the key mechanism just the locking flag, very easy to do. The lock in my opinion damages the Smith revolver brand name and is just completely unnecessary and yet another example of gun manufactures letting people who don't even own or buy their guns regulate how they are sold or built. I will not be buying another Smith until the locks are removed, which I hope is very soon as the pre locks are getting harder and more expensive to get :-( I gave it four stars just based on the lock.
