love it, Love Kimber. shoot great and smooth.

I purchased this gun for my wife's carry weapon. We have continual problems with this pistol jamming! Gun has been taken apart, cleaned, oiled. Several different types of ammo tried. This was my first and last Kimber purchase!!

Great little gun. Takes down similar to a 1911. The disconnector is on the side, instead on the center rear. The trigger pivot's on a pin and has a spring on a bar that resembles half of a standard trigger bow. The sear, hammer assembly, mainspring housing, sear spring, mag release are all 1911 copies, just smaller. Measured the trigger pull and its right at 7 pounds. The trigger actually feels crisp, and lighter than 7 pounds. The crimson trace laser grips work great out of the box. The iron sights are good enough for close in defense work. No plastic, all metal. Recoil is very managable and the range visit had zero problems in feeding or extracting with about 100 rounds of Win and Rem ammo. The zippered case and the holster were both a bonus. Decent documentation in a thick book too.

What a cool little gun. I could not be happier. The only thing left to do now is order up another mag.

Truly awesome. First and foremost, the fit and finish is second to none. This is indeed a work of art. Now, lets get town to basics. The laser was spot on from the factory. Trigger pull was comfortable, and zero issues after 250 rounds of LAX Reman ammo. For a CC, this is one nice weapon. My wife loves it, and has a bunch of range time, and is very comfortable with it. I originally bought her a Ruger LCP, but it was a total POS. Just garbage. Comparing the Ruger to the Kimber is like comparing a Yugo to a Bentley.
