HKI VP40 40 4.09 3DOT FDE 2/13 - 13 Rounds

I have this amazing gun for the past 3 years. It is H&K for God's sake. German's certainly are anal when it comes to building almost a perfect gun. Fired well over 10,000 rounds not a single malfunction!(not a typo) .I go to the range and practice what I need to practice, I field clean it and it continues to run like H&K. Trigger is god sent! So after so many rounds I have some thoughts for folks over in DE. Trigger guard & trigger guard frame should be slightly wider/longer/flatter..why? After you begin to fire few hundred rounds per range practice you begin to notice some little things :). Trigger guard bottom SHOULD be flatten out so the trigger & you finger when pulled back at the time of firing does not catch that small little groove that they made for trigger to travel back and forth.Because my fricken finger gets raw (Yes I practice a lot) after firing. I sent it to competent gunsmith to flatten out that section and NOW I have best fricken Handgun in the Universe! I think I might get a call soon from Guardians of the Galaxy! If you are on this page and looking for reviews whether to buy this gun or not stop wasting time and just buy this German Marvel of Engineering and you'll see what I'm talking about. This gun is beautiful and seems to be really well put together. It is very accurate. When it got serious with it and took my time, I unloaded a 13 rd mag from 15 yards and had 12 in the bullseye and 1 just outside (about a 4 inch dia.).I have shot about 400 rounds through it with no problems whatsoever. I've never cared anything about trigger pull, but the pull on this is so smooth. The only thing I don't like is the paddle mag release, but I know I'll get used to it. As usual Bud's was outstanding. Never a problem with these guys.
