The HK45 is full-sized like the USP, but with ergonomic styling like the P2000. The HK45 adds front end grip serrations on the slide, a Picatinny rail, and an O-ring polygonal barrel for increased accuracy and more consistent lock-up of the slide and barrel during cycling. HK's unique internal mechanical recoil reduction system reduces recoil by as much as 30%, and the polymer frame with a textured ergonomic grip allows the pistol to sit lower into the web of the hand, contributing to recoil management and greater control of the weapon. This pistol features interchangeable backstraps, 3-dot sights, and an extended ambidextrous slide release. This HK45 model, Variant 7, has the double action law enforcement modification (LEM) trigger without a manual safety or decocking lever. This is a great 45ACP. I would recommend anyone looking for a really nice 45 that shoots so smooth that its like driving a Rolls Royce, to look very close at this model. It is Great. Thank you Buds.

I couldn’t get with the long trigger pull and being a lefty I kept hitting the magazine release every-time I pulled the trigger. This gun is solid it’s just not for me.

Excellent price (these used to be $1K or more) plus Bud's gave me a good trade-in value for a SIG P220. Pistol fits the hand very well and the finish is like all HK's - very good. First time with an LEM trigger and I have to say I'm impressed. Easy first pull and the shortest reset I've experienced outside of a tight 1911. Recommended!

The gun is so easy to shoot, & so accurate it is unbelievable. The way they have the HK45 designed is truly amazing, this is easier to control and do follow up shoots than a few of my 9mm’s. If you are considering a 45ACP do yourself a favor and borrow or buy the HK45 and compare it to any other similarly sized 45 & you will not want to put down the HK45. The only thing I can say that the HK45 is missing, is the 3rd large size backstrap (which isn’t even made) that is offered with the VP9 customizable handle grip.

After reading so many reviews online, I went for the V7. Trigger was deep, which as new HK guy hard for me to get use to. I had a few eject to feed which worried me a bit. Many commented that might caused by the new spring being too hard brand new or limp wrist it. I just don't feel comfort with it and traded it and bought a V1. I prefer the V1 trigger over V7. My V1 performed flawlessly without any issues. Very accurate. V1 is my keeper.
