Love this gun! Handbag ready. Ordered on the 2nd Shipped on the 5th. Very happy with this purchase from Buds and very happy with my little Taurus PT22. Beware to all of the robbers on bingo night this Granny is Packin!

As good if not better than Beretta, and I love Beretta as well as Taurus. She's a keeper as a concealed popper especially with .22LR copper hollow points. Took her right to the Range and the gold trigger and Emerald grips made her a Looker. However performance was as good as my Beretta 22LR. In God We Trust!!

My third gun from Bud's. Great service and fast shipping! The Taurus, just as everyone else says, the only way to chamber a round is through the flip up barrel. So if it's a ccw, you need a little 22 in the pipe. With a safety and heavy double action trigger, it's comfortably safe. The pistol ate up round nose ammo as fast as i could pull the trigger. Flat nose winchester 22s were 99% reliable , with only an occasional failure to feed. A slight polishing job would likely fix that.
The green n gold scheme is our local high school colors so to the local folks it looks custom! The grips are way to smooth but sure are pretty and the gold trigger is stylish.
At way under 200 bucks, you get enough fun and attention to definitely make it worthwhile.

If only i could given this gun a review on the first 3 mags the shot... felt nice in my hand but it is a bit wide. First 3 mags shot great! Was loving it. Then the slide came flying off when i put the mag in. After that. Jam jam ftf fte and everything else. Its a shame. Even if it functioned perfect it would still be 3 stars. If there is a round in the chamber and you rack the slide it loads another into the one in the chamber. It wont eject it first. Maybe it was a flaw in my gun...maybe not. Either way unsafe with a rim fire. Did have a lifetime warranty, but i sold it to a guy who was with me and had seen the problems it had.

Gun looks and feels solid but after 150 rounds the barrel lining stared to flake off in big chunks, sent back to Taurus (took 6 weeks to repair and I received NO updates until the gun arrived at my house and I got a letter from Taurus saying "we have received your firearm its in for repair blah blah" but I had already received it back) . Took it out to the range after repair and fired 100 CCI and I'm noticing minor chips again in the barrel lining, overall I am disappointed with this purchase because I should not have these type of problems after 300 rounds... Buds was excellent as usual though.

A most excellent transaction. I am no stranger to the Taurus line and, as usual they hit the mark again. I have had several Beretta Pop-Ups before and found them all to be excellent firearms and this PT-22 at almost half price is just as good. My wife and everyone who has seen it have flipped and want one. I bought the Emerald grip model with
the gold mag release, trigger and release lever. It functioned as it should with Remington Hollow-Points. It was supprisingly accurate for a pocket pistol.
Buds is new to me but I am hooked. The service here is as good as it gets period.
I'll Be Back.
Thanks,

Put 100 rounds through at the range. No problems. Trigger tight for my big finger, but other than that I'm satisfied. Fun to shoot. Bud's easy to do business with.

Excellent quality, no issues. Wife and I both have one and have a blast plinking with them on the ranch. Very accurate for such a short barrel but we love the shape of the grips. Not flat like newer polymer pistols, they feel good in your hand. We have several other .22 pistols but we carry these on the ranch constantly. In a word we Love them. Nice to be going "Green" with the rest of the world!

Bought as an impulse buy when they came on special. Small Tilt barrel .22 Prefers High velocity ammo. Used Rem thunderbolt without issue. Standard velocity target ammo would not reliably function. Gold accents and Emerald grips makes it totally tasteless and tacky. Initially trigger pull was VERY hard expecially at the end of the DAO stroke. After 50~100 rounds it eased up and became much better. Accuracy? Pretty sure I could hit something this size a a paper plate anywhere within 21ft. My rating based on value for the money. I would not count on this to protect the ranch but it is small and reliable with the correct ammo. Much better than a rock and a sharp stick. I bought with the Buds extra warranty thinking it may need to go back for repairs. I was happily surprised it did function and feed well.
