This gun is a Pitbull. Fires well, but a bit of a kick if you are a lady. Looks and feels to be strongly made. A little (just a little) disappointed with the appearance of some of the finish near the slide. Overall, a very good gun. It's small so it will make a great carry, especially with the 10+1 capacity blasting 45 Caliber rounds!

Gun that was sent was not the item they had pictured. I had requested the pictured item that was a two tone and got the all black instead. Other then the looks its a great gun, powerful and accurate. I was a tad unsure about such a small 3" barrel with a 45 acp but no problems at all. It is worth every penn, small and perfect..

Upon receiving the Warthog I noticed that the magazines looked as if they were used. While shooting the Warthog for the first time the slide lock popped out multiple times. At my expense I shipped the pistol back to Para for repair, and three weeks later I received it back. I again went to the range and shot a full box with zero failures in any fashion. The lack of recoil in a .45 this size is astounding and I love the feel of the gun in my hands. Even though this gun only has a 3 inch barrel, it still fires with accuracy and precision due to the barrel being match grade. I am still giving this gun 4 stars just because I love it so much. I was told I can receive reimbursement for the shipping charges to the factory, but I have not gone through with it yet.

THE 45 AUTO WARTHOG IS A BEAST! I WAS A LIL HESITANT ON THE SMALL FRAME/ LARGE BORE ISSUE BUT ALL IS GREAT! I HAVE FIRED 300 ROUNDS W/ NO HICCUPS IN ANY AREA. I WAS SHOOTING CORBON AND HORNADY VERY VERY SMOOTHLY. THE RECOIL IS QUITE TAME COMPARED TO OTHER .45AUTO I HAVE FIRED AND IS VERY EASY TO GET RIGHT BACK ON TARGET. VERY ACCURATE @ 25YDS AND I FEEL VERY COMFORTABLE CARRYING THIS FIREARM IN "CONDITION 1". THE ONLY THING THAT IS A HASSLE WHEN RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX IS FIELD STRIPING IT. AFTER THE BREAK IN, STRIPPING IT IS CAKE NOW... HOPE THIS HELPS SOME FOR THOSE INTERESTED, THANKS.

This is a great little concealed carry weapon with a big wallop!. I have had NO jams with approximately 200 rounds fired. The slide spring was very stiff when I first received the gun and required a full-handed grip to pull back. It has since become easier. I do believe that since the slide has a short distance that it moves, it is important to grip the weapon firmly in what I read was the "push-pull" method, i.e., my right arm (I'm right-handed) is rigid allowing for a solid platform for the slide to move and the stiff recoil.
The accuracy with the match barrel is incredible. Groups are 2 inches held free-hand at 25 yards. I have changed the grips on mine and put on some Hogue finger groove grips ($14) to give a bit more control.
I do carry the weapon in "Condition 1" (chambered round, hammer back, safty on) and feel very safe.
Buds is great as usual.

I got this gun to be my primary CCW. I fell in love with it right away. It is a good shooter; however the trigger pull is almost 7 lbs. Which is OK I guess for a carry gun. I shot close to 150 rounds through the gun and it performers very nicely. There is only one minus, but I think it is more me than the gun. I am used to carrying a PPK style pistol and I used primarily inside-the-pants holster. I loved it. Now with the Warthog it does not work as well. The gun is too bulky and sometimes it is very uncomfortable to carry it inside the pants. I give 4.5 stars.
