What a beautiful finish on this pistol. Photos do not do it justice. Functioned great right out of the box. And, as usual, great customer support from Bud's.

This is my first Para and it won't be my last. By the picture and the way it was represented, I expected a bead blasted stainless finish, but instead ended up with a gorgeous polished stainless finish. This has got to be one of the most beautiful guns out there. A real finger print magnet. He he. Love that it's already got pretty well all the custom touches I want and that the workmanship is outstanding. On to the range. This thing shoots great and lives up to the 38 super reputation for accuracy. I went thru 150 rounds with absolutely no malfunctions whatsoever. Para recommends 500 rounds to break in, but honestly, I don't think it needs it. If it gets better, that's only icing on the cake.

This is a beautiful gun in the polished stainless. I added a Wilson Combat magazine and gave to my personal gunsmith for a work-over including polishing ramp and a trigger job. I like the pistol so much that I bought a second identical one for each side. The recoil of the .38 super is not too bad. Fit, finish, and function is every bit as good as Colt at a much better price. I personally own over 30 - 1911's and this gun scores at the top along with Colt and Sig. Bud's has had some issues with product availability, but I talked to a manager and they made it right.
