I do really like this pistol. It is heir to a grand legacy in firearm history. It is still a useful gun, but modern designs have left it far behind. I got this one because Walther started making them in black finish and it looks right again. I had a stainless steel example back in the late 1980’s. It was the USA made Interarms version. I found the DA trigger pull to be very stout indeed. This new one exhibits a similarly heavy DA pull. Also, I noticed that the Interarms gun delivered exagerated felt recoil. This new version does as well. I don’t know why this is the case. It seems inherent in the design somehow. The extended beavertail on the new version has sharp corners on the end that bite into the web of my hand. Overall, it is an uncomfortable gun to shoot. This gun is for those of us who just love the iconic nature of it. It can serve as a defensive pistol, but there are much better choices out there.

Very happy with my Walther pistol. Though they are quite expensive I highly recommend them.

Great gun. I bought the stainless version and loved it so much I had to buy the Black version. Not necessarily for a carry, although I may on occasion, but as gun a piece I love. Like a classic car I take out on occasion. Good trigger after a few hundred dry fires with a snap cap. It’s a tack driver when shooting. Before that it was very stiff but I breaks in. That aside, I must commend Bud’s customer service. I have bought from them on many occasions without having to contact them. I had some questions on this purchase and they were more than helpful. Exceptional gun to have in the collection and responsive and helpful customer service. Highly recommend.

A:Are you leaving notifications and make sure it is logged in your notification list. Yes while it is a bit hard to find, Buds does have them every so often in fact since the last person asked this very question (maybe it was you) etc? I bought one myself. ; ) Ive seen it for sale twice in the past month or so in the Team Buds sale area. Are you checking everyday? As from my experience sometimes notifications either are late or don't' arrive at all. So I would check a much times as you can in a day. Its how I buy most of my guns here. I also got a very hard to find Hellion or VHS early this month under msrp as well from Buds. So yeah things come and go you just check as much as you can and make sure you have a notification also being a TB member helps too . Good luckSee 5 more answers | -
