I've done all the little tweaks on this gun, & it's ok but still no match for my ruger mark 3 hunter with 7"bbl. It's probably just barrel length.. it cycles fine, is lightweight, & is well made. But a 22 is not a defensive carry weapon.. i have a 9mm keltec that is about the same size & weight. So while it is a fine pistol, it has a very restricted use in my arsenal. I got it to carry on kayak trips, or backpacking, but the accuracy is so much better with the ruger that i'd rather carry it, even though it's bigger.

For what it is, it is a good firearm. It just doesn't fit the uses i planned for it.

I hate to say this, but I was unable to fire two consecutive rounds with this pistol.
FTF, FTE, jams...Sent it to S&W yesterday.
Hopefully I am able to update this to a more positive review later.

This Walther P22 is very light fully loaded and economical to train with for shooting skill (trigger control, shot placement, etc.) and as a plinkster it's SUPER COOL. You HAVE to use Top Quality Ammo, though but my satisfaction with this pistol is high. 300+ rounds so far with NO JAMS or failure to feed. Just be sure to clean it after a shooting session.

I bought this walther about mid march, loved it, only got a 100 rounds out of it. I still would have it and i still would love it but on May 22 Joplin got hit by a tornado and our house got wiped out then burnt the rest of the way and lost all guns even my Walther its sad i know but im hoping to by another one real soon cause i only have a month to get sharpened up on my shooting the go get my c&c
Thank you buds gun shop for having this walther back in stock.

Got the gun and after firing 2 clips through it, it started jamming. Should have cleaned it good before I shot it. Cleaned really good and it fired perfectly. Guess there was so much factory oil on it there was a build up.
After I it cleaned it good it performed flawlessly.

Update, I put another 100 rounds through the gun and it will not cycle bulk ammo. CCI ammo will cycle about 95% of the time. Don't buy if you want to shoot the cheap stuff!!

This is my third purchase from buds. I love this gun great practise gun versus shooting my glock 27 plus its a lot cheaper to shoot. only complaint is not from buds but my fault. Dont send a personal check do the electronical check way faster and you still get the cash price. Great service!!!!! Now im just waiting on my Bushmaster and i will be set. And you cant beat the price, I bought this new for what they were selling used for all around DFW.
