Born of the traditions of the Old West, the Rough Rider maintains much of the look and feel of the legendary Single Action Army revolver, only in a scaled down version. Chambered for the .22LR and .22 Magnum cartridges, the Rough Rider is manufactured using state-of-the-art precision machinery that assures its accuracy and reliability. The cylinder lock-up is tight and the perfect timing of the action makes for a handgun that will put its shots where you want 'em.
The machined barrel is micro-threaded and inserted into the frame for the optimal barrel/cylinder gap to give you maximum ammunition performance. A hammer block mounted in the recoil shield provides extra protection and has a red dot indicator that lets you know when the gun is ready for action. A new, more authentic looking flat-sided hammer paired with new exotic cocobolo grips, makes the Rough Rider both functional and handsome. There are also other grip materials available, plus finish options include the attractive and durable Smooth Silver Satin. When it comes to the Rough Rider there are no shortcuts taken!

Ideal for hunting, plinking or western action shooting, let the Rough Rider be your choice in a new rimfire revolver.

This gun feels great in your hand, it is Cowboy cool, it shoots great right out of the box and is easy to operate including the safety. The 9 round is definitely worth the extra dollars, 6 just goes too fast.
One issue was loading 22 mags thru the feed ramp was difficult but easy to overcome.
Bud's online and the gun shop are great as always!

Great for the price. Put 150 rounds through this morning and found it to be quite accurate. It's a lot of fun to shoot.

Very nice gun. Shoots straight, cycles real smooth. Take down and cleaning is a breeze. The fit and finish is very nice. Overall a very fine shootinn' iron. And of course, Buds was awesome. The only issue I had was the FFL dealer the gun was shipped to. The package was left to sit at the post office for close to two weeks, one more day and the USPS would have sent it back and that would have opened up a huge can of worms. Now that was in no way, shape or form Buds fault or problem, just be careful of which FFL dealer you have your gun/s shipped too. Thank you Bud's Guns!

This was the second one of these I bought, and it now has about 700 rounds thru it. It's a lot of fun, and you will not regret buying it.

I was very surprised by this gun because I wasn't expecting much considering the cost of the gun but I was very wrong. This gun is fantastic, I had read reviews online saying they looked cheap and had a cheap "paint" job and their sights were off but the one I received has great looking wood grips and the blued finish looks good. The gun comes with two cylinders the .22 and the .22magnum and it takes about 15 to 20 seconds to change them. The first day I received the gun I put over 300 rounds through it and the second day another 2 to 3 hundred and its surprisingly one of the most accurate guns I own besides my Ruger mark iii. One thing about this gun that could be good or bad depending on how you look at it is how loud it is. This gun is as loud as a .410 or a 45. Needless to say I doubt this will be the last heritage I buy. As far as Buds service I put the order in on Sunday and picked it up at my local ffl on Tuesday and this was during the thanksgiving/black friday rush which says a lot about Buds service.
