This is my first pistol first firearm. It's very nice machining. It isn't hard to shoot. The trigger is nice and expected. For the price I'm very happy. It holds 17 rounds no stoppages. Shoots range rounds no problem.

I've had this pistol for several months and come to love it. The grip is very comfortable. My copy of the pistol has a smooth trigger pull and nice deep report (bang) compared to my other 9 mm's. It looks great, too. I prefer this pistol over my Glock G17 for range use and comfort.
There were some initial reliability issues when new. The recoil spring was very stiff and the pistol was extremely unforgiving to poor grip. This resolved after use, including running some +P ammo through the pistol and storing for a couple of weeks with the slide locked back. Gun has loosened up and shoots flawlessly.

This is not a Glock killer. Fit and finish is good, grip is great, but trigger is horrible. I have two of these. One stainless like this one, and one black one. The trigger on this is all take up, no wall, and anyone's guess when it will break. Heavy resistance starts as soon as you start to pull the trigger. The black model I also have is completely different. It has light resistance to a wall, then a somewhat clean, light break. I have switched slides on these guns to see if made any difference. The stainless grip on the other slide is still horrible, and the stainless slide on the black grip is normal. There are much better guns available for a few dollars more. I have a Canik tp9 that I think is great. If SAR had a descent trigger, it would be as good, but it does not. Trigger is a deal breaker.
