I have been extremely pleased with this Dan Wesson valor in 9mm. Very accurate and reliable. The only issue I have with it is the grip safety. Due to the shape it sometimes does not push in far enough to disengage. It could just be the shape of my hand but I have not had this problem with my other 1911’s

I received my BRAND NEW Dan Wesson Valor today (on time). Oh Boy, what a BEAUTY ! I took it to the range and put maybe 120 rounds through it....WOW. The gun is a work of art. You will not be unhappy with this gun. Oh, and the service was EXCELLENT. The purchase was easy and I love that I bought the lifetime warranty for 80.95. Bud's has a lifetime customer. I will be buying again. Happy Shooting, George W.

After picking up the DW from my FFL, I didn't notice the rear night-sight portion wasn't working. The front night sight was okay. After contacting DW who wanted me to send the slide in for repair, I hadn't even fired the gun yet. So, I op'ed not to send it in (wanted to see anything else was wrong) and ran 930 of my reloads and a box of 50 new federal rounds through the gun. The gun worked with out any issues and seems accurate enough. The gun is well made, but the Heine sights will probably be replaced. Disappointed in the QA of DW or Heine for not checking the night sights. I won't buy another DW.
