The CZ 85 Combat adds a fully adjustable rear sight, extended magazine release, drop-free magazine and overtravel adjustment on the trigger. The Combat designation comes from the lack of a firing pin block safety, allowing the replacement of the firing pin without tools.

Ambidextrous features include safety levers, slide stop levers and a reversible magazine release. The lack of a firing pin safety gives the 85 Combat a slight advantage in the trigger pull department, making it a long-time favorite of competition shooters.

Very happy with this purchase accurate and no malfunctions. Only gripes are dull paint used on the sights and trigger over-travel screw walks out on mine easily. Both easy fixes. Overall really nice gun and features for the money. My 1st CZ and I'll be buying more.

The quality was not what people said it was about the CZ 85 combat I received. The finishes was bad and one of the mag that came with it would not lock in. I called CZ- USA customer service and got the run around. I will never buy another product from CZ again. The quality is not here in these guns unless you buy one of the custom guns. Buy yourself something better.

This is my first CZ handgun and I am very impressed with the quality, accuracy, and smooth operation of this weapon. The sights are very good to my 64-year-old eyes and I am shooting fist-sized groups at 25 yds. I like the ambi safety and slide release as well. The only negative is some slight creep in the trigger. I am going to put about 500 rds more through it and see if that is still an issue then maybe have a trigger job done. SA pull is very light with a clean break (after the creep) and DA pull is long but incredibly smooth. I have been shooting handguns for 45 years, 30 as an LEO and instructor, and in my humble opinion this weapon can't be beat in this price range. This pistol needs nothing done to it out of the box. I also purchased a CZ 26 round mag at the same time. That works flawlessly also. This is a handgun my LGS would never stock so I'm thankful to Bud's for supplying shooters with hard-to-find items.

Buds was great, the pistol went out quickly enough given the Christmas to New Years holidays. The CZ85 itself is excellent. Very good ergonomics and build quality. It points easily and just feels perfect in the hand. I have about 600 to 700 rounds through it without a single hiccup - and that's with reloads. Groups are tight and the trigger is good for an off-the-shelf gun. I've been using CZ magazine and picked up a MecGar 19 rounder too. It works perfectly with that magazine too. This is my second CZ purchase from Bud's and there will be more in my future. I would (and do) recommend CZs to others for their excellent value and how they shoot. Very pleased with Bud's and my FFL too.
