Great service from buds, once again... Gun was as expected, no issues.

Great looking gun. Nice safety measure, has 3 different safety measures that I like a lot. Shoots well, fired it around 20 times so far with no problems. Only drawbacks is not much range (only accurate for about 10 feet) and extremely hard to reload but good value for this little gun

Bad: u get what you pay for. But this feels more like $19.99 than $119 Ejector and barrel lock lever of flimsy looking light alloy. Ejector barely works and that only after I buggered up the edges with pliers. It likes to pop over cartridge head and then stick. I bet I can make a better one myself. It and its screw are loose and rattle. At first I thought gun was badly scratched, but it just had machining swarf allover. Internal springs sometimes twang. Good: large steel parts seem sturdy. Good ergonomics in my large hands. Safety, hammer and lock lever easy to reach. Recoil easy. Trigger pull hard but easy to get used to. Mine works not like a lot I heard of. Ugly: You can apparently fire this after forgetting to lock the barrels. Should be interesting especially the bottom barrel with a powerful cartridge. Adequate, could be cheaper at this quality. I'll be happy as long as it doesn't break soon.

Well, I received this gun yesterday. Shipping was speedy and efficient, etc. It's a good looking gun (black with brown wood grips), and feels perfect in my large hands. Loading it is not difficult, and seems very safe. I used a couple snap caps to practice loading, and practiced dry firing with it all afternoon. Everything was easy and pretty straight forward, except for the simply awful trigger, and extremely tight hammer. To fire the gun one must press the trigger in just the right spot, and just the right angle for it to fire. This is apparently designed like that for safety reasons, but it means that you spend a few seconds trying to press the trigger just right, and it is not a natural firing position. I was hoping to use this gun as a CCW gun, but the trigger is so difficult to find the "sweet spot" that it is totally unreliable. I would never use this gun for anything except novelty shooting at the range. I'm going to oil the trigger and hammer to see if I can get it to be more reliable, but for now it's just something to fire at the range only.

This is a great little Derringer! For $99 I was curious, and I know some of the earlier incarnation of these from Davis(?) I think, were iffy. But when I first unboxed it the nice fit and finish was immediately noticeable. After cleaning and oiling it I put in 2 snap caps (you don't want to dry fire these) and tried the cocking safety and trigger. Yes, like you've read it's got a hard pull all around, but that's a good thing. Once you figure out the angle of the trigger it gets a lot easier. This is a little piece that you're going to want to really spend some time figuring out the controls on, but once you do it's all very second nature. An important thing to keep in mind that "half cock" is only half cock in name. This is the safe and normal resting position for the hammer. When you load it, make sure it's on half cock. When you carry it, make sure it's on half cock. When the hammer's fully down it's actually a post firing position and is dangerous on this gun. Ammo loaded without issue and the gun closed easily. I may occasionally carry this, but I wouldn't recommend this for regular EDC unless it was part of a back up or you had a very specific reason to. It's actually kind of fun to shoot, so will likely wind up in my range bag more often then not.

After a good cleaning and lubrication for the trigger, fired 60-70 rounds trouble free. You must get used to the trigger pull which is different than other pistols and always keep hammer half cocked when closing or carrying. Nice to carry and shoot.
